Camp Cats

We really enjoyed our stay here. The creek is lovely. There's a walking trail (a few of them, actually) nearby. Deer visit every day, which was fun for us and our cats who like to lounge in the yard. We feel like we had plenty of space. There was a place to park our boat trailer where we could still access it as needed. Various stores were nearby, and if you need more Butte wasn't too far away. All of the utilities worked without issue. The staff was very nice, and actually held community dinners which we found very thoughtful.

We were winging it on a trip with no places booked. I contacted Big sky. They said they had a spot for a night. I was looking for 2. But said k and booked the one night. The owner called me back 10 minutes later made it so we could do 2 nights. Staff very very friendly. And the deer added bonus.

We discovered Big Sky last year as we were staying in the area for about two weeks. When we pulled in we were not sure what we were getting. While it is a little tight and there are a number of permanent residence, the owner made us feel welcomed and accommodates our needs. We have a 42’ Class A Diesel, so big rigs can fit in this park, albeit there are only two or three spaces available. The deer were a plus! Close to everything downtown Anaconda, and Butte is but 20 minutes away! This is a great park! A little old, but a great park regardless. Don’t hesitate!

We spent the summer at Big Sky RV Park and would love to do it again. It’s a great park with a community atmosphere. Staff is amazing and quickly become friends and neighbors. Bathhouse is always clean and the washer and dryer in the office is a great convenience. The 4th of July party is a blast.

If you get what you ask for you are probably ok staying here. Tony the camp host was great. The owner or whoever was in charge was not. We keep a spreadsheet and notes of all reservations. We give our RV size and reserve sites with 50 amp. When we arrived they only gave us a 30 amp and said only run 1 AC at a time. Other “larger” RVs get 50 amp sites regardless of when you made your reservation. 1 AC will not cool an RV when it’s 90 out. Owner said he told us the policies when we called but he didn’t. Picnic tables are half, 2 ppl. The park is at the bottom of a rocky hill. Not very scenic. Would not recommend.
