This man is so honest and fair. We moved here looking for crabs, he gave the best advice and because I am a purple Heart veteran he wouldn’t except money. We ended up getting our limit of crabs because of him this guy who owns the rv park is no joke. More people need to come on down here.

I can say that the owner was absolutely awesome, very professional and patient! He has the know how and experience of a fabulous boating adventure; all the locals were super friendly and we got 5 star treatment! Though the RV park is not for short term stays one has to experience the boating!

Andy and his team are awesome. We were there on Friday and he was booked for the weekend (he books at least a month out) so he took the time to show me how to use a hand-throw pot and rented it to me for a great deal for both days. If you're interested in going crabbing while in Tillamook, MAKE SURE AND SEE ANDY!! If he doesn't have boats available he'll help make sure you can get some crab while in town. BTW, he also sells 3-day crab permits, about $20.

We had an awesome experience crabbing today! Andy, Chuck, Jill and the other staff put all their attention to 3 of us gals and helped us get our limits. Big Spruce RV Park is a great place to use for crabbing out in the boats. You have gained 3 forever customers. And Jill taught us how to clean our crabs 🦀. Thank you and we will be back!

So refreshing. Ask how to access the "drive on to river bank". Its worth it! Huge area to back straight in and park your tow rig away from your spot if needed. Awesome bathrooms with showers and laundry. Bring quaters for the laundry... Perfect rural camp away from the city life. Others were perfectly friendly. Just a nice peaceful place with big giant spruce tree's and river fun!

Owners/staff, Zach and his wife very friendly. Location is great with just a couple minutes walk to a great beach. Campsite accommodates big rig pull throughs at the front, a lot like a parking lot though. Showers, washrooms, laundry (2 each) are good. There's even a place to clean and cook up your crab catch. Also rents boats.

Ok so we've done our fair share of crabbing along the Oregon coast and have our usual places we like to rent boats and rings from. However, our usual place in Netarts was NOT accommodating our last trip over. Thanks to my husband, we were able to find Zach at Big Spruce who jumped in and saved the day. He hooked us up with enough bait to last us more than our 3hr rental (something the others do for an extra fee). He made sure we were aware of the tides, danger zones, favorite honey hole spots and safety knowledge before putting us in. Big Spruce isn't a fancy crabbing company that overcharges you for add-ons. It's just a great place to rent a boat and crab. They also cook them for you and if you're up for it, he'll even show you how to find the crab heart to eat... Yes I did it ONCE! Their pricing is much better than the competition, but the experience is what keeps us coming back. He provides all customers with life jackets and has loner gloves if you accidentally forgot yours. This is truly a wonderful business who treats their customers like family. We'll be back again and again thanks to Zach!
