I don't write reviews often, but we've stayed many times over the last few years. We always make it a point to stay here for a couple nights when passing through Texas and it never disappoints. The staff is always kind and friendly and the common areas are impressively clean. As a bonus there are so many ways for kids to get their energy out. Oh and don't forget the free shuttle to delicious steak. We RV as a family all over the USA and we all agree this is one of our favorite stops!

Much as I'd like to give this park a good review, it was an awful experience. We were assigned site P-1. If you get assigned this site save your money and go park in a Walmart or Cracker Barrel, or at an Interstate rest stop. Site P-1 is a tiny site, right next to the main entry road of the rv park. It is also right across the street from the Starlight Ranch entertainment venue. Our first night loud music played across the street until at least midnight. Forget sitting outside, we could hear the music over our tv! After being kept awake by the loud music, we were awakened by a loud train horn at 6 am the next morning, and then there were a couple more early morning trains after that. That was the "good" night of our 2 night stay. Our second night, there was a truck burnout competition right across the street. The noise and smell were awful. The burnout competition started in early afternoon and went on well into the evening. It was so loud we couldn't have a conversation or even hear the tv. The thick burning-rubber smoke was awful and permeated our coach. Our dogs were freaked out by all the loud noise. It is hard to describe how awful it was. Thankfully we didn't plan to stay any longer than 2 nights. The sites in our section were very close together. The sites in other areas may have been quieter. There were other nicer sites in the park, but this site was definitely not worth $75 per night. Positives: The store was very well stocked and there were plenty of trash dumpsters for easy trash disposal. We camped at Big Texan RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

This place is awesome! We came across this place by the best luck. We originally wanted to glamp in one of their adorable wagons but ended up in a cabin. It had EVERYTHING we could have needed and we wished we could stay longer. Andy treated us like royalty and all the staff were amazing! We will definitely stop here anytime we pass through.

My husband and I decided based on reviews decided to try this RV park on our way to Colorado. We thought is was so nice and very customer friendly that we booked a RV spot again to stay on our way back home. Very nice spaces, easy dr pull through access for larger RV’s. 3 very nice fenced areas for dogs. Very nice looking cabins from outside They also offer transportation to and from the Big Texan restaurant. Only suggestion is possibly a remodel on restrooms .

The nicest park on our multi state trip by far. Friendly staff and exceptional hospitality and cleanliness. Very convenient and easy to navigate. They can handle any size RV and the park is tastefully decorated. Don’t miss the bagels and coffee each morning! Wish we could have stayed longer. Really liked this park!

We were greeted in a very friendly manner and immediately instructed in the right direction by a member of staff. The nice lady at the reception spoke very clearly so that we, as Germans, could understand her well Never seen one traveling under four or five feet. This one was 9. Just great! We will be back!

Awesome RV park. We stayed one night on our way out west, and one night on the way back. Office staff were very kind and helpful for both of our late check ins after long days of driving. The dogs loved the multiple dog parks. The bathrooms were spotless. We will absolutely be back on our next trip out west.

Easy access on and off 40. The spot was easy to access and easy to depart. Easy after hour check in. There was a shuttle running to the steak house but there was a 2.5 hour wait once there. Shower rooms were kind dinghy, but the water was hot.

I would put this park in the top 10% of RV parks I have experienced. The place is kept very clean. Sites are level and firm gravel. Utilities work great. Wifi is simple and effective (not blazing fast, but sufficient). Cable package is generous. There is an indoor pool and hot tub that were very well kept. Nice lounge area, playground, dog park. And yes, they offer free transportation to the restaurant. For all of this I found the price to be quite reasonable--possibly even a bit low for the quality that you get. I will definitely be back.
