Stayed here for 3 weeks with a 36 foot trailer . Pros -Extremely cheap for a site with full hookups, it’s across the road and down from some great Alberta history , has a huge grass space for kids to throw a ball, also baseball diamonds a small walk down, amazing little community, great fudge and ice cream near by! Oh and the river you can swim at is less then 15 mins away:) Cons- it’s literally like a small parking lot with all traffic into big valley driving right beside you so no privacy at all, only 5 sites. I’ll also add there’s a badger that likes to hang out very close by so he was around almost nightly. But over all a great cheap place to park for a while!

A small campground with 5 or 6 sites. Seems most sites are occupied by long term tenants. We took the one remaining site. Full services. We would stop if we were passing again. An outdoor display of farm equipment and the story of steam locomotives and their maintenance in the valley in the early 1900s is near the elevator across the street.

First time camping in Big Valley. Always stopped at the Outrider restaurant on passing through. The historical society has done amazing job with the roundhouse, etc. Only 5 spots but it has grass around not gravel. 25 dollars for full hookups.
