Very disappointed with the camping. Nothing worked, the shower didn't work, we had to go to another place for a shower. The water onsite is not drinkable and needs to be boiled, which makes it really inconvenient when camping . The front office is always closed and it was hard to sleep with the noise from surrounding farms.

Big Valley Resorts? More like Big Disappointment. If you’re looking for a weekend getaway where you can question all your life choices, this is the place for you. The “resort” (I use that term loosely) felt like a forgotten backyard that someone accidentally started charging people to camp in. The bathrooms looked like they hadn’t seen a mop since the dinosaurs went extinct, and the staff had the enthusiasm of wet cardboard. Nothing was as advertised, unless they advertised “chaos, noise, and regret.” Honestly, I’ve had better accommodations at a gas station bathroom. 10/10 would not recommend unless you’re into overpriced misery and mosquito bites. Go literally anywhere else. Camp in a ditch. Sleep in your car. Book a weekend in jail. All better options.

This is the worst countryside I have ever visited. There is not even any service. The toilets are salty, disgusting and even the smell is impossible to smell. There are many, many dangerous insects in the rooms. And we even had a beehive in the room. The owners of the place were very strict with us. There are a lot of thieves there. There is no security, because there were people who abuse drugs. We did not really like this place. This is the first time and the last.

Probably giving 3.5/5. This camp ground was pretty good overall, the cabins we rented were great. The pool building had nice clean bathrooms and the cabins all had great fire pits. Office staff I delt with was very friendly. The only issue was that the pool was down and there was a no drinking warning for the water this weekend, which made us hesitant to use the showers. Also we unfortunately had some pretty terrible neighbors in the tent camp area, who were just blasting terrible music late into the night, being loud and rowdy, fighting and yelling with each other. It was really unfortunate, but other than the neighbors it was nice, I would camp here again for a weekend in Niagara. Seems like the new owners who took over this year are trying to improve the place.

I have not even stayed here yet. I can already tell my family and I are going to have an amazing time. Tasha is very helpful. She went over and beyond. I am very greatful. Can't wait till June 28th. To start the family's first camping trip of the season.

The park management is absolutely outstanding in regard to customer service. Not only do they make sure you are comfortable, but they are honest and provide you with a camping experience to remember. Thanks Tim and Natasha!! You guys are great!

Extremely frustrating experience. The place was poorly kept, the tenting bathrooms were run down (no toilet paper), and the owners were hard to reach. Arrived during normal office hours, the owners were nowhere to be found. We called and were told to pitch our tent anywhere, they would come around to meet us. They never did. We had to track them down to pay them in the mornin, and it turns out the rates are much higher than advertised online. The owners made no effort to publish their new rates (we chose the place based on the price) and there was no discount for arriving when the pool was closed. My mistake in not verifying price, but I believe most reasonable people would assume the advertised price was correct. Hopefully the owners get their act together and post an updated site, because this is misleading at best, a flat-out scam at worst. The showers were pay showers, $2 each, which was not written anywhere on the pay box. Overall it was overcrowded with poor amenities for tent campers, with owners who neither stick to their office hours nor fairly advertise the price. I would warn anyone I know to stay far away.

Never have i ever been so rudely spoken to or even had business handled in the manner Brian did yesterday to my friends. Etiquette is a thing and people respond better when you're nice about things and not a bully/shady about how business is handled. Definitely not a nice person and definitely shady as hell as well.

Our family loves Big Valley! It's a beautiful and outdoorsy setting, a wonderful community of like minded and kind people, and a place we're proud to call home! The management are all amazing people; they're all very approachable and committed to improving the overall experience. I can't imagine a more relaxed and family oriented place to be, even just for the weekend or summer. We ❤ Big Valley!

I haven't been camping here although they have a food truck out front named Alvin's Food Wagon and the fries were excellent and the customer service is just outstanding. I'm sure the camping isn't that bad there. Nature all over. 😉

A beautiful park tucked away in nature. The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming and they make improvements left right and center on the property. Huge community vibes here.

We first came here to spend our wedding Anniversary, my Wife and myself were pampered with care from the beginning. Nadia is the most caring, and splendid woman. She took care of all of our needs beyond our expectations. A true divine woman whom we loved from first meeting. When entering the cottage it was freshly cleaned, everything you could possibly need the cottage was equipped with. The grounds of the park are manicured to perfection. All in all, a little piece of Paradise we were sad to leave. We have been back a few times since and with our children who enjoyed this park just as much. Nadia is the soul of the park, if you feel like having a porch side chat with an amazing , intelligent hilarious woma, Nadia is that woman. I am looking forward to making more memories each and every chance we get I would recommend this park in the highest regard. No nonsense, no parties, just pure family fun and relaxation. Positive mannerisms by all we met with smiling faces. 5 stars is just not enough for the fantastic care we were given at this park. Cant wait to be there opening weekend and many more Thank you Nadia and family for your compassionate care you put into every detail and make us feel like family xo Shawn & Jennifer.W
