We had our camper there for the 2025 season. This was our first time doing a seasonal and it was the best decision we ever made. I really don’t know where to begin with all the positives. Everything is meticulously maintained and clean. The owners really take pride in their resort and it shows. They have every weekend planned out for all ages and lots of family activities too. The pool is great and so warm with plenty of seating in the sun or shade. My kids liked splitting the day between the lake and pool. I would also say this is one of the quietest campgrounds/resorts we have stayed at. Everyone was very respectful of their volume during night time fires and even music during the day. We unfortunately couldn’t renew for another season and will miss our little slice of up north fun.

Everyone at Birch Bay was very kind and helpful. Our children felt very safe and had a blast meeting new friends for the weekend! It is very well maintained and lots of fun activities for the kids! Highly recommend!

We stayed at The Rv resort not realizing that it was an exclusive permanent Rv sites. There were some sites for non seasonal RVs. The price for a pop up trailer was totally ridiculous which is my fault for not looking at price. Bathrooms were far, but very clean. We didn’t know a playground even existed. The pool was cold. For 90 a night it should be heated. The flies were really bad. This place is really missing the Summer vibe. I didn’t feel that they were kid friendly at all. The grounds staff were friendly, and the grounds were immaculately kept. The office staff made no effort for conversation. If you’re not in a big camper this is not the place to be. If you want a fun summer sit around the campfire vibe this isn’t it. Very disappointed.

Had a FANTASTIC experience camping at Birch Bay! One of the cleanest, most pristine campgrounds we've been to. Beautiful pool, lots of great snacks and treats in the lodge, fun little arcade for the kids, and the inflatable obstacle course on the lake was a blast! Nice big campsites, great firepits, and just an overall comfortable stay! Very friendly and helpful staff too.. can't recommend this place enough. We WILL be back!!

Truly a little slice of heaven on earth! The entire place has been renovated!! Grounds and amenities are top notch. They have two beautiful new pickleball courts so bring your paddles! Lake front has an amazing course of inflatables for the kids! Birch bay is also very family friendly! Agate lake is a joy to kayak and fish! You will truly enjoy your experience!!! Add this to the top of your list for campgrounds to visit!

Sites are in an open field pretty much. Make sure to bring half a lumber yard to be able to level your RV ( sites have a small layer of class 5 but are not even close to level like they should be). No power when we showed up, Rude staff. Not even close to worth it for the rates. Stay at your own risk! You’ve been warned.

I can not say enough good things about Birch Bay RV Resort. The staff were so friendly and did an amazing job keeping the resort clean and maintained! The camping lots were very spacious, and our pull through lot had a concrete pad, which was a bonus! The shower house was also very clean. They have daily activities planned for the kids, which they enjoyed, free candy bar bingo, decorate your own donuts, coloring contest, live music, etc. Very much a family-friendly resort. We already re-booked for next year, and we can't wait to go back.

We loved our family stay here with our RV. The resort has a great location on a private lake with a beautiful beach with awesome water toys. There are small docks for fishing. The pool is very nice with ample space and seating. We will definitely be back. Make sure to book far enough in advance because they seem to book up fast.

This resort is OK. They need to work on their customer service. They are not very accommodating or helpful. Check-in is not welcoming. I went to visit family. The amenities, showers, and pool were clean. The beach area needs work. Smelled like dead fish. Which decreased our time and fun on inflatables. They have an ok area for pets. Overall it is not a place I'd visit often. There are many other nicer options in area.

Fantastic week at Birch Bay resort. Staff is friendly and helpful and the cabins were clean and comfortable. Lots of things to do on resort and nearby. Both the kids and the adults in our group had a great time and we will be back next year.

Was a beautiful place to go, now the original management has been let go, and the campground is run by the owner’s son. Unfortunately customer service is awful. No flexibility. Customers are considered rude if they ask a question or ask for assistance. Wouldn’t recommend.

Nice park and management is friendly. Fished lake on site and caught 25 between two of us. Nothing very big but we had fun.

This place is great! There are two HUGE water rafts to keep the kids entertained for hours! Staff are super friendly. Grounds, bathrooms, and showers are clean. Quiet- other campers are friendly and nice.

Large sites with full hookups, we fit two vehicles and the camper. Not many trees so a little harder to find shade but groomed nicely otherwise. The beach was great and the two floating obstacle courses were a hit for the kids. Lots of fun trying out the paddle boards. Very, very clean and spacious bath house. The bathrooms are a bit of a ways from the weekend sites but closer to the beach. Fun, newer playground for the kids. Looking forward to more camping trips here!
