Quiet and out of the way. Lake is nice. Camping sites are generous.

Great, rustic, secluded place with large sites. Not very busy compared to some other campgrounds we drove through in Washburn. Very wooded between two lakes. The pump we fund for water was pretty hard to use, so bring your own. If you want to get away, this is the place. The only thing they could do better is marking the toilets a little better so you can find them at night.

I camped here a couple of nights so I could be close to Bayfield and Ashland Wisconsin. I took the apostle Island boat cruise in Bayfield.

Nice campsites with lots of spacing in between, beautiful scenery in the national forest and conveniently located in between washburn/Ashland and cornucopia.

We enjoy the small size and the fact that there is one Lake to swim and one to fish.
