Absolutely loved this place! Fun camping area. The host Debra is the most kind host I’ve ever met at a campground. Super friendly towards my kids. Definitely will be going back as much as possible!

Smaller quiet area with not much to it. Not much for hiking or activities beside the lake. Area around it is nice. Campground closes Oct 1 right before peak fall colors many years. Should stay open until Oct 15.

Such a quiet, beautiful campground and area. I love taking clients here for their photos.

The Host Deb was super amazing and fun, she loved our kids and was so Friendly. The bathrooms were cleaned multiple times a day. The trails are fun and the water was nice. The price was cheap too.. Definitely will be going back The only downfall is is there is no wood to buy at the campground so make sure u pick some up in town first

Birch lakes state forest has camping, a boat ramp, and trails. I hike the trails at the park. Always a wonderful time.

Good park. There are trails for snowmobiling and walking. Mostly wooded land. No snowplow service in 2019 - 2020.

one of the best places for camping in Minnesota!

A little known gem in central Minnesota, this forest offers a true and cozy wilderness experience with secluded walk-in sites and sociable drive-in ones. The one group site is an excellent value, running only $50/night for 5 medium sized campsites, easily accomidating of 20-plus people. There are not a whole lot of trails, but the ones available are relatively narrow and offer a deep woods experience (so bring jeans). There is also a public water access and a small beach with a picnic area.

The walk in sites are very secluded. Which is nice. But the The officer the patrols the park it's extremely rude. 10:30 on a Friday night and me and my kids can't laugh and giggle at the camp fire. And his words " people come to this camp ground to enjoy the nature, not listen to people talk and laugh." We paid for two nights but are leaving first thing in the morning.
