Place to sleep didn't use pool or anything. Alot people living there all summer. Neighbour's I think had been there awhile, just about stepped in dog poop as soon as getting out of motorhome... seemed like they had events going on for kids. Garbage area a bit messy people putting large item out that would not fit in cans

Another couple and ourselves were looking for a spot on the northern coast to spend a weekend as we needed to travel from both ends of NS and this was dead centre. The freshly renovated cabin had lots of space for two couples. At no time did we feel like we were tripping over each other. We had separate bedrooms and the beds were decent. There is some rot in the front porch that hopefully will be fixed up soon. The kitchen provided all we needed except salt and pepper to make meals. It was easy and convenient to get to. The campgrounds are a nice little walk in the evening. If we're in the area again, we would go back.

Small campground with great owners!!! Good value and close to amenities. Full service sites as well as tent sites. Even a couple of cabins!

Stayed at birch wood campsite for one night. Mostly all seasonal sites with a lot of clutter everywhere. The washrooms are terribly dirty. Laughed at the sign in the washroom asking guests to clean up after using. It was so dirty in the washrooms. Certainly was disappointed with the care and attention to a good location for what could be a great campground.

There are some areas that are really good, and some areas that need a bit of love. The bathrooms are just okay - they could use some love. The location is great though; right near the ferry and town center. The playground, gazebo/picnic area and pool aren't necessarily an area I would let my kids go to but again; they just need some love. The fellow working the front desk though was amazing and the highlight of the stay. Very helpful and friendly.
