Stayed a couple weekends here and fell in love with the place! Owners are very friendly & helpful! Very clean park that is very well maintained. Very quiet and peaceful with larger rv spots. Nice path down to the beautiful river with sandy spots to hang out! Great fishing! We have found our new camp spot that we’ll be back soon! Thanks again for the wonderful stays!

This is a very clean RV Park and has huge spaces, which have plenty of room between site. Ours was a big back in site and was very easy to back in to. The short walk to the bay is a nicely maintained trail and the bay is beautiful. The hosts are wonderful people and very helpful. They are very friendly and share tips about the area. We thought about giving this review 4 stars due to the close proximity to the Railroad tracks. The tracks and an highway x-ing are across the highway from the park, and are very busy. There were between 7 and 9 trains each night and they blow their horns 3-4 times at the crossing (it's the law...they have to). But we still slept good and overall the trains did not detract from our stay We highly recommend this place

Stayed two night. There is a train that goes through. I don't mind trains. The park is very nice. The lady that is handling the office is super. I messed up my dates. Came in a day early. No problem. I lucked out. That was last night. Tonight, we ran into town for groceries. Coming back in, the sign said "Park is full". The area is wonderful. The people seemed friendly. I will come back for longer next time.

Charming little family owned rv campground. Stayed here for 3 nights in July 2025. Bathrooms and laundry facilities are very clean. Book exchange on site. We loved the trail down to the river. There's an extension trail as well as we took our dog on that trail. Lots of places to take our dog. Owners are very accommodating and helpful. Would stay here again. There is a train track that is very active across the road so you will hear the trains but didn't bother us.

The most pleasant and helpful people I've met on this cross country journey. Campground is also well kept, clean and remote while also being close enough to grab what you need in town. The river and trail to get to it was nice, short and stunning. We were able to get our paddleboards down for a dip. I'll be back to thompson falls and will never stay anywhere else.

If you love the sound of trains, this is your place! WAY to loud for us even with earplugs. Edited to add, the owner is correct, they can't control the trains. Their RV park is very nice.

We stayed at this lovely RV park for the last 3 days and would highly recommend it! It has a very nice little trail down to the river where you will find wild 🌻a 🏖, 🎣 holes and a nearby 🏌‍♀️and the little town of Thompson Falls. Don't miss 🚗 around the country side of up to Thompson Pass for the incredible views and hiking trails.

Birdland Bay is an absolutely beautiful RV park, we really enjoyed our stay! The owners are very friendly and helpful, they go the extra mile to make sure all is well with your stay! We had site 23 and it was perfect, gorgeous view of forest, private and level! The park is very quiet clean, beautifully decorated, you can tell the owners take pride in keeping a lovely resort. There is a private short trail down to the lovely river and lots of local places to bike, hike and water sports in the area. We highly recommend this park and encourage others to plan a stay here!

Originally meant to stay for 2 days, ended up staying a week! Nice, clean, quiet, and a beautiful walking path down to the river, perfect for dog walks. I spent several mornings and evenings down at the river watching the sun rise and moon rise. Clean bathrooms and laundry room. Helpful owners. I stayed the first week of my new remote job and it was the perfect peaceful place to not worry about anything else and just focus on my new job.

Absolutely love this place. The park is beautiful, sites are extremely well kept, the laundry facilities are very nice, and the owners are wonderful. We consider it our home away from home.

Have lived at this beautiful RV PARK for 3 years. We arive May 1 and typically depart the end of September. We are full-timers and this has become our summer home so to speak. Bottom line is this place is perfect. So much to do or do nothing. It doesn't matter. You'll enjoy whatever you decide!!

What an amazing experience! This was the quietest and cleanest RV park I've ever been to. Everything was conveniently located. The lake beach was just a short walk through the most beautiful trees. The hosts, oh my goodness, they were so sweet and helpful. RV camping at Birdland Bay RV Resort needs to be a yearly event!

We stayed here one night and wished it could have been longer. This is a very beautiful RV Park with large spaces, picnic tables, full hookups, clean laundry room, bathrooms and showers. It’s next to the River and between the mountains. Feels like a giant hug. The Wade family are very accommodating and friendly in making for a very nice stay. They’ve included many fun touches to the park that make it more memorable. I love this place and hope to return for a longer stay.

This is a lovely RV Park. Nicely spaced sites. Clean and well kept. The laundry room is great. It's typically quiet and peaceful. I would give it 5 stars if I could sleep through the train whistle. It comes during the day and I love the sound as it echos through the area. But it's startling at 4:30 am. If you are a reasonably sound sleeper, give Birdland a try, it's beautiful.
