My favorite provincial park near the city. Hiking, biking, cross country, cruising, roller blading, dog walks, swimming at the beach, picnic, horseback riding, camping, coffee, fine dinning, bougie shopping at pine ridge, and a good place to teach new drivers😁

We visited Birds Hill Provincial Park in September of 2023, and it was a wonderful experience! The fall colors were starting to show, and the scenery was breathtaking. The weather was mild and sunny, with a crispness in the air that was perfect for hiking and outdoor activities. The park was relatively quiet, making it easy to connect with nature and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The trails were well-maintained and offered varying levels of difficulty, suitable for both casual walkers and avid hikers. The park's scenic drives and picnic areas were also lovely, with plenty of opportunities to stop and take in the views. The fall wildflowers were still in bloom, adding a splash of color to the already beautiful landscape. Overall, I highly recommend visiting Birds Hill Provincial Park in September. The comfortable weather and stunning fall colors make it an ideal time to explore this beautiful Manitoba park.

It was nice to be there on a sunny, warm autumn day. Trees were stunning, and you will find beautiful wild animals. The park is great for jogging or walking dog, or maybe picnic. If you are with your close friends or family, you will definitely enjoy spending a day there. However I was surprised that they locked up almost all bathrooms in the entire park(even though they only had two in such a big park). I only found one (looks like) abandoned potty, and one drop toilet. If they have at least clean bathrooms, I would go there every autumn. Not suitable for little ones but if you enjoy outdoor activities you will love this place.

Excellent place. 👌 👍 Birds Hill is a place where you can not only walk around the neighborhood, and enjoy nature. There are many bike paths and a great lake with a clean sandy beach. There are picnic areas and camping areas. Mostly birches and pines grow here, so the atmosphere is very sincere.

Very beautiful and attractive tourist destination. Close to Winnipeg Manitoba just 20 minutes drive. Lots of parking space available. Very beautiful lake and surroundings area. Beautiful place for barbecue and picnic with family and friends. Must watch and visit.
