We had such a great experience staying here during the eclipse. It's a beautiful, peaceful setting right on the Ohio River with amazing sunset views. The sites are roomy, bathrooms and showers were clean, and the campground is gated for security. The owners were very welcoming and could have charged outrageous fees for the eclipse viewing but did not. We enjoyed our stay so much we extended it an extra night. Hope to visit again!

Love this quiet hidden gem of a campground. We came here to see the eclipse and not only did they have regular prices for the stay, they had eclipse glasses for everyone! (a nearby Hampton Inn wanted $749 for a room for Sunday night and $599 for Monday night so we decided to take the camper!) The owners are so nice and friendly and loved having full hook-ups right on the Ohio river! Very peaceful and I think this was the friendliest campground we have been to both the owners and the campers!

Our stay at Birdsville Riverside RV park has been the most peaceful and relaxing stay we have had on this trip. We were escorted to our site overlooking the Ohio River where we enjoyed watching the barge traffic every day! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Paducah is just a short 30 minutes away and home to the National Quilt Museum and Hancock Fabrics, which made this quilter very happy!

The quietest and most peaceful RV park I've ever been to! I really enjoyed my time there. We had a pull -in site with our windshield facing the river. The grass is mowed down to within a few feet of the river. We had a complete full view of the river. The sunsets were awesome! The utilities all worked as they should. We were escorted to our site and got help getting lined up well within our site. The bathhouse isn't fancy but is kept clean and fully functional. The park is gated. I've never been so pleased with an RV park. This place is great!!

Great little gem sitting on the side of the river. Beautiful scenery with the abundant sounds of nature. This was probably the quietest and most peaceful campground we have ever visited. My wife and I go seeking relaxation and to get away from the world, both of which were achieved here. I highly recommend Birdsville if you’re needing to unwind.

We had a great time & very much enjoyed our stay. The owners were very friendly & accommodating! Our RV backed right up to the river & we had a beautiful view. We happened to stay during inclement weather 😅 and the owners were very helpful & caring while taking shelter in their (very clean!) bathhouse. Thank you for taking care of us, being so friendly, & having a great spot to stay!

Found this beautiful gem quite by accident. It will be our go to spot from now on! It's is tucked out of the way on a beautiful stretch of the Ohio River, an easy drive from Paducah, even with the skinny bridge (can't wait until the new one is finished). The grounds are well maintained, it is the perfect getaway for us. Easy pull in or back in spots, right on the banks of the river. Sites had full hook-up for a very reasonable price. Peaceful, quiet, stars at night, breathtaking sunset view. Absolutely perfect! The owners are a delightful couple that go far above and beyond when making sure that you are well taken care of and that you have what you need. Honestly hated to leave a review... I wanted to be selfish and keep this gem to ourselves. I've already booked for next year! And who knows we might be back before the season ends this year... Thank you for an amazing experience!!

My family enjoyed a relaxing stay at Birdsville Riverside RV Park as part of a cross country trip in June. Our site was clean, spacious and right on the river! The campground is very peaceful and is a great spot to sit and enjoy the water view. We were able to park our long travel trailer and long-bed truck easily on the site. Large, beautiful trees gave just the right amount of shade. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Sunsets over the river are spectacular and my children enjoyed fishing off the dock at the river and running around the playground. Bathrooms were clean and just a short walk, if preferred. If we travel that way again, we would definitely make it a planned stop!

We LOVE Birdsville! The owners are wonderful. They're so friendly and help with anything you might need. Such a great, well maintained spot to spend a weekend. All of the sites are literally on the river and the views are beautiful! Great hiking less than 20 minutes away. Can't beat the price for full hookups and such a peaceful place!
