The staff here are super friendly and accommodating and helpful when you come to visit family for the weekend. The place is really large. They have lots of amenities for kids and I could not get over the size of their gift shop in a store. I have a campsite myself where I live just outside of Ottawa and I was amazed by the amenities that Bissell’s Hideaway Resort has

"This is our favorite home away from home! The staff here is so welcoming and genuinely makes you feel like part of the family. The pool is a perfect place to cool off on a hot day, and our kids absolutely love all the activities, especially the fun bingo nights in the rec hall. We've made so many great memories

Great fun for the family🩵. Their pools are very well maintained and clean, with areas that are not too deep for younger kids and also beginners swimmers. Their foods/treat options are decent : you can get ice cream for the kids when they are in and out of the water but I would still recommend to pack a small lunch with your kids favorites snacks/fruits in a small cooler if you are planning to spend the day there.

We rented a rustic cabin for a weekend with our grandsons. The cabin was clean and the bunks were comfortable. The bonus was the cabin was air conditioned, which made sleeping much better during the heatwave! The waterpark was fantastic! We spent a lot of time lounging by the pool. There are a lot of things to do here, including paddle boating, mini golf, fishing, arcade, basketball & volleyball courts and the park has a fantastic pavilion with programming every day! Overall, a wonderful vacation get away!

What a wonderful resort! This was our first time out with our brand new RV, so we had no idea what to expect. What we found was pristine grounds, and abundance of clean washrooms, reliable electricity, soooo many activities, live band in the pavilion, friendly staff… we could not have asked for a better experience. Our dog was given a treat and a doggy bag on arrival. Our site was a pull through on a concrete pad, and it was ginormous. It included a fire pit and picnic table, which felt very private. Price was reasonable considering everything that is available. Some of the complaints are a little precious on here… docking a campsite because it rained…. Really? This place deserves a 5/5 all day long. Thanks for making our first night out memorable! We’ve already booked a return stay
