During the lake months, when the spillway gates are closed, the view is nice and I hear the fishing is fantastic! In the off-season(?) the quads sometimes show up. Pretty cool use for a lake bed if you ask me. And you can still cross the bridge and launch a boat there in the remaining lake [channel?] But I couldn't quote you their fees. Boat ramp on site. Oh, and there are a couple cabins I've never seen inside. Has Wi-Fi... currently... at the time of this edit. Internet availability has been hit and miss since I've been here; sometimes no signal (somewhat understandable), sometimes no service. And phone service is terrible. (I have both AT&T and Verizon. AT&T beats Verizon here but typically neither are capable. I added a Verizon booster and now that phone is no longer COMPLETELY useless here but still close.) The slips are pretty close, many have said. Don't expect Dallas, TX amenities like a fitness center and spa... or even groceries in a reasonable range. It's a good stop on the map when you plan a fishing trip, quad excursion, or simple get away. Thinking about it, there is a lakeside covered pad that I'm guessing could be for cook outs and gatherings, but you'd have to ask on that. Just so you know what to expect, if you thing my review is in some way negative, ask yourself why the author stayed all these years.

Very cozy! There pads are 45’ long, with plenty of space between. The views are spectacular.

Very quiet and clean rv park. Management is always very helpful. Great place to put in a boat or just fish off the dock.

Super-sweet management! WIFI on site doesn't really remedy the internet black hole (and it cuts out frequently) but it patches it (if you're from anywhere but here, you get me). Slip selection matters almost as much as the season, so... think water-line in the rainy season. I trust they'll direct you to the right space cuz after the last rain that fishing slip is all mine ;) This is Bistineau.
