I cannot recommend this trail ride enough. We did not stay on property as we live only 45 minutes away but I would 100% come for a getaway weekend. The hour long trail ride was the perfect length and extremely intimate (we lucked out and only had the 3 of us). The two trail guides Emily and Ashley I believe, were so kind and friendly! We enjoyed random conversations along the peaceful trail with the most gentle calm horses! I cannot recommend this enough and will definitely be back to visit the sweet horses and staff, and try out their delicious looking food!!! A big thank you to Emily and Ashley for making my bday extra sweet and to our very cute horses, Finn, Philly, and Lottery!!!

Our family had the best time at Black Prong. Before we even got here the staff reached out and were extremely nice and helpful. Our lodging was pristine and they made special accommodations for our daughter that was extremely thoughtful. We did a trail ride with Abby and Emily who were very knowledgeable, instructive and easy to talk to. The ability to walk, bike or ride directly into the state park is an amazing feature. It is so calm and peaceful here and yet there is so much adventuring to do so. We look forward to coming back! PS- I posted this review earlier to their trail site and now realized it’s more appropriate here.

This resort is absolutely beautiful. We stayed in the one bedroom cottage that is like a very pretty tiny house with everything you could need for a comfortable, enjoyable stay. They even provided a golf cart for getting around the property. The restaurant onsite is well appointed and the food is amazing!!! I would definitely recommend

We had our wedding here a few weeks ago and were absolutely blown away by our accommodations, the staff, the property, just everything. Our guests raved about their cabins and many of them said they would return just for a little getaway. All the food was delicious and the staff were kind, helpful and always went above and beyond. My husband and I plan on making Black Prong Bar and Grill our anniversary dinner spot every year. I cannot say enough good things about Black Prong and all their staff!

What a wonderful, peaceful getaway. We live in the Tampa area and took a short 2 hour drive with our dogs to stay at the Black Prong Resort. The tiny home we had was new and offered everything needed for Glamping. The on site restaurant was fantastic from the bar staff and drinks to the food options. While at the resort, we participated in a cocktail making course. This private education on 2 signature adult drinks was fantastic. Blake and Jada know mixology! I now have a new favorite bourbon drink which I can make on my own! E bikes for the trial were free to use. My wife and I had a blast riding on these machines. Lastly, we paid to take a trail ride on the very healthy and well kept horses on the premises. My only issue was that my wife and I are experienced riders, and wished the trail allowed for more than a slow stroll with the horses. We would have liked to trot or gallop a little, however that was not allowed. The ride was still fun, but too slow for my preference. Thank you, The Glenns
