We LOVED it here! The camp hosts were amazing; extremely welcoming, nice and even scored us some fresh basil on the property! The sites and grounds are very nice and clean; lots of trees in most sites. Bathrooms, shower and laundry available on the property. It’s right on Black River Bay. Close by is a Dollar General which has a HUGE selection of pretty much anything you would need. The Dexter market is within 5 minutes and close to Watertown for larger stores. Be sure to check out Dexter and Sackets Harbor for quaint town stores. We will absolutely stay here again!

I Absolutely Love This Place! I have been going there for about 10 years now. Other than a few cleaning oops in our cabin, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

The staff is extremely rude to people who arent regulars. I paid for my spot and associated me with other people and kicked me out with them. Every time I went to pay, they were extremely rude and ignored when I shared my side of things.

The positives were it was quiet and great if you like to fish. Nice boat ramp. The park itself was congested with RV's on top of each other and very, very run down. Toilets didn't have the water pressure to flush properly so let's just say it was not sanitary. Shower stalls were old, dark and delapidated. The sites we were assigned should not have been given to campers with larger than a 22 ft camper. Ours is 35ft. Luckily the site behind us was unoccupied when it came time to leave so we could get out. Cars were parked directly in front of us after we arrived as the permanent site was so small it could not accomodate any vehicle other than the RV. Felt like sardines. Roadways were narrow with cars and boats parked way to close to the roadway. Trees were not trimmed back as they should be to accomodate larger RV's. Would not recommend this campground.

Love love love! The campground is located close to a lot of stores but once you hit the campground it actually feels like camping and not like you are in the city. We had a perfect tent site with a water spout, and was large and away from other people so we also had privacy! For $1.00 you can shower for 7 minutes in their restroom area. If you happen to forget anything like firewood, you can buy some at their little camp store. My family will absolutely be back!
