The park has spacious sites. Only electric but they do have a dump station when exiting. The showers had lots of shower stalls. The beach house showers are huge. You can’t drive around the lake so if you want to see a large portion of it, you have to rent or bring a boat. Had a great time camping!

We had a wonderful time camping here. Beach and the lake are really nice and everything was really clean. We will definitely be back.

It's a oak Woodland in the driftless area where a stream was damned to create a lake. It's nice for fishing. The campsites are generally nice well kept out the bathrooms are nice. We didn't find many walking trails though maybe they were there. The issue we had was a number of dead trees around our campsite and one that fell onto our canopy. Hit someone that would have been very bad. I informed the campground hosts.
Hike and Health Adventures
I camped overnight and hiked the next day around the lake, just short of 8 miles. It was a great hike, it was a bit overgrown and a bit difficult to navigate in a couple of spots, but it does not affect my rating of 5 stars. Absolutely beautiful hike.
