We didn't know what we were getting into until it was to late. Came here to visit family and thought we would stay a few months. After settling on a price that was not really in our budget, but it was close to my family,we thought we would give it a try. Upon arrival we discovered our Cabin #1 had a serious bug problem. We had Giant Red Wasp on the deck which became worse as the days went on. Two days after we tried to settle in with $400 in groceries,we discovered ants in the kitchen...tried to cram everything in a dorm size refrigerator that didn't work out to good. Going on week 5 we found out why we were itching and waking up with bites on our bodies...Bed Bugs...never had them and never want them again. Tried to address the issue with owner Anthony.. He accused us of bringing them with us. We asked to be moved to another cabin and he said No. Now mind you it's 9:30 at night he told us your welcome to pack and leave that he would refund our money...well Duh!!! Stayed up all night itching and packing our belongings. We threw away all our clothes, suitcases,and dog bed...a total loss over a $1000!!! To sum it all up ...if you enjoy The thought of being stung by GIANT red wasp,ants in your goodies and bites and itchy sores on your bodies,Book now. If not drive on down the road. Very disappointed in the attitude of the the owner, Anthony and difenetly won't be back.

Our stay was great! Chad was very helpful and accommodating. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The balcony view was outstanding.

Came out here for our family trip and loved it! There is a beautiful lake view right from the cabins! Service is very friendly and kind! Definitely recommend!

This resort offers great scenic views with close proximity to the beach area. We had a great stay here with our little cabin. All the amenities were in great shape and were able to get some clothes washed. Thank you mockingbird resort for all the great memories!

Loved Our Stay!!! Highly recommend for a getaway that’s not too far away! Lake access less than 5 mins!

We are staying here currently waiting on our house to be finished . The management is friendly the RV we are renting is nice and the resort is clean peaceful and quiet . It's everything we need to be comfortable until our home is complete and the price is more than reasonable considering hotel rates !

I lived here for a year and a half. It is a beautiful place and it is a good value. The management is professional and it was a great place to stay.

I've lived here in my 5th wheel for 5 months. It is quiet and a nice place to be. I have a huge deck with a view of the lake and walk down often with my dog. The rental price is super affordable. There are a number of nice cabins and rv spots of all sizes.
