This park is primarily long-term campers from what I saw. Two private bathrooms in the bathouse were clean. Nice laundry area.

Located on Mill Creek so you can enjoy fishing and kayaking (boat ramp on site), Blue Heron Landing RV Campground is a family-owned, quiet, peaceful place to stay. Upon arrival, we stopped at the office to receive our map/rules fliers as well as a flier containing area restaurants, stores, and emergency numbers. We proceeded to our site, 45, a roomy pull thru full hookup 50 amp spot with side grass, a fire ring, and a picnic table. A majority of the guests during our stay were workcampers; all were pleasant. Next to the office is a bath house with coded entry and a laundry facility with three washers and three dryers — all at $2 for approximately a 35-minute cycle. The campground has a playground for kids. Onsite doggy waste bags/disposal areas. Firewood available. There is also a nice, renovated rustic barn that can be rented for birthdays, reunions, or any special occasion. Other ways to stay include rental RVs, two cabins, and rustic tent camping. The campground has a wonderful, personable office manager, LeaAnn, who we enjoyed conversation with a few times. She is very helpful and just a delight to meet. Thank you to everyone at Blue Heron Landing for making our stay an enjoyable one!

We stayed at this Campground from October 2022- part of May 2023 as my husband was working in the area. We loved our time here! Owners were very personable, friendly, helpful and on top of things! We had a full hook-up, back in site that overlooked the fantastic river below. The bottom area of the campground is the true gem of this place. It's beautiful with its green grassy area, picnic tables with umbrellas over looking the lake, great place to fish and catch 50lb catfish! Our neighbor was always fishing and we had the chance to witness his catches on several occasions. They have two cabins down there and it's such a great area to take a family walk, enjoy the scenery and watch the cows across the gated fence. There is a rather steep hill to get down to this gem of a place but its great exercise. They have a small playground up top that my kids loved although they preferred to play in the creek towards the front of the campground and watching the wildlife like groundhogs, jacksnipes, frogs lay their eggs and more. They have a laundry room at the front entrance of the campground that has wi-fi but this is not a campground with extended wi-fi throughout. They have 3 washers and 3 dryers very reasonably priced and always clean. They have restrooms and showers by camp office but we never used them so I cannot attest to what they looked like or how they were. We experienced the end of fall here, winter and spring and never had an issue. Although come spring we found that ticks were bad so make sure to come prepared. If we're ever in the area again this will be the campground we stay at.

We stayed in the red cabin two nights. The cabin was very comfortable. Scenic, along Mill Creek. Very clean. The air conditioning system was easy to control. The bed was firm but very comfortable. VERY COMFORTABLE! Rebecca, the manager, was absolutely FANTASTIC! Giving us recommendations of places to go. We will return!

Very nice, quiet considering so close to a main road. Beautiful property to walk and relax.

Very nice campground, run by incredibly friendly and helpful people. Easy to get to from I77. The shower house is incredible! I've never seen such a nice, clean shower house in a campground. I will definitely keep them in mind during my travels.

Well kept campground with super nice owners. Sites are full hook up, gravel,(most are back in but a few are pull thru) and vary in length ... but many will handle large RVs/trailers. Laundry is available onsite. We enjoyed walking down by the creek below the main RV area. Very pretty and quiet area.

We had the best night sleep. Peaceful great hook ups. Some pull through spots. Firewood was available for the fire pits at each spot! We will most certainly return.

We stayed here twice, once on the way up 77 and then once one the way back down 77. Highly recommend if you are looking to overnight while traveling 77. The owners are very pleasant, friendly, and accommodating. They have a newer laundry building that requires HE detergent and not powder so keep that in mind if you need to do laundry. You will need to have quarters too as there is not a change machine. Again, no big deal. Great power and great water pressure. Very clean. If you have a bad back or knees make sure you ask for a site with water on the post. They have something weird going on with some of the sites where the water hookup is below the ground. I can’t explain, but you need to know if you are like me and have had knee surgery, etc. You can tell this is a newer campground and they are continuing to perform improvements such as new trees planted, etc.
