I’ve stayed in a lot of rv parks across the country. This is one of the nicest. Not too big but very well kept and quiet especially being right off of a main road. One of my favorite places I’ve stayed in all my travels. Each spot has little street lamps that come on when the sun goes down enough so it’s well lit and looks very nice. Feels safe. Feels like living in a little subdivision. Right next door to a little market. A little further down are some dollar stores. Less than 2 miles from a gym. A little further from that are some fast food stores and gas stations. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area.

pros: the staff was very professional on the phone and at check in and it’s extremely convenient to have a grocery and fuel station next door! cons: the spots are VERY tight, and they park everyone next to each other and leave tons of open space so you end up with no privacy. bathrooms need a deep clean.

Great RV park located a few miles off of I-10. We had no issues parking our 44ft fifth wheel. Concrete pads, pull thru sites, and great WiFi. Casinos, restaurants, and shopping close by. Will definitely stay again.

We will definitely be staying here again. Local and family owned. The park was immaculate and level. The other campers were very nice and made a few friends. John is extremely courteous and we had such a great conversation about our different walks of life from different states. We also had an issue with our slide out and had to work on it in place. John was beyond helpful and couldn’t be a better host. Definitely felt safe here and will stay again with our family.

Very nice and clean RV Park with very easy access. It's located close to Lake Charles. Big rig friendly with asphalt roads and concrete parking spaces. It's well lit and patrolled by local law enforcement. A large grocery store with fuel and propane are located right next door. The best part is that the owner and his employees are super friendly and helpful. We have really enjoyed our week here.

My husband and I loved this RV park . We had planned on being at then park one day earlier until we had trouble with our slide that would not retract. Had to spend an extra 1 1/2 days in New Orleans and when we called John to cancel he was most gracious. Told us to come the next day . Thank you … this park is so clean and the laundry and showers are beautiful . The lamp posts and a cute touch. The store next to the park is so convenient. We never met John but his grandson , Alex seemed very proud of his grandfather’s park. If we are ever through this way again we will definitely stop and will highly recommend it to others.

What an EXQUISITE, clean, well-appointed RV park! My husband and I have traveled quite a bit and were overjoyed to find Blue Heron RV Park. Easy on and off I-10, level concrete pads, street lights, huge laundry facilities and wonderful showers; and the owner is a gem. Wish I could rate this place even higher than 5 stars!

Great overnight stop. Friendly staff, clean and quiet, except for train in the distance which didn't bother me. Would definitely stay again.

Just wish you had a place for a nice fire outside but I totally understand, most people like myself, just stop for a night or two, very nice park, super friendly staff and the folks who stay there every year are super friendly and speak highly of Johnny the owner...we had the pleasure of meeting his grandson I believe it is super young man and very pleasant to deal with and accommodated us on our trip to Texas.

We found this little jewel a couple of years ago and try to stay here every time we travel I-10. It’s easy off and on the interstate, quiet and clean. It’s gaining popularity so book early, returning guests get priority. The owners are very nice and helpful. Pull-through pads are completely concrete and level and have cute little lampposts. A little grocery store is next door.
