Blue Heron RV Resort

We were visiting friends so that's all I have to base my comments on. Nice place to visit. It has an HOA type of rules, with expensive dues. Not my kind of living. Plenty of happy people living there.

Extra large sites. Perimeter sites have plenty of coverage. Exterminly clean, Best shower anywhere bathrooms are immaculate. very welcoming.

This is one of the nicest places we've ever stayed at with its convenient location between Guntersville, Scottsboro, and Huntsville . There is a Community Center that is used for parties, and other gatherings. In the same building there are weight rooms, library, and full kitchen. Oh, and the best part..... the absolutely beautiful pool. It is regularly maintained and is a quite wonderful end to a long day. The residents there are friendly, and helpful with anything that you may need.

The first thing is I have been trying and trying to get a hold of this resort for weeks. I’ve had my boyfriend calling and his mom along with me. I could never get anybody to answer the phone. One day I decide to call again and they finally answer (after the second phone call). I asked if they had any lots open, she replies “No I’m sorry, thank you goodbye”. I tried to ask another question before she said goodbye but then she proceeds to just hang up the phone. I tried to call back immediately after she hung up, multiple times with no answer. Their service is terrible. I would never recommend anybody to stay there nor will I, due to the lack of respect and due diligence.

We paid $35 a night, then $175 a week; it will be $500+electric a month for a RV pad. This is a privately owned RV resort with spaces for rent. Some are pads, some have screened rooms, some have RVPorts, some have sunrooms. Two stocked lakes, pool, laundry rooms(2) and shower houses(2). Each Laundry has a washer and a dryer ($2 wash/$2 dry). Mostly 40 foot+ poured pads, FHU, 50 amp throughout, asphalt roads, hilly park but all poured concrete pads are level with a concrete pad alongside. Less than a minute from one of the many public boat ramps, Lake Guntersville is world renowned (Bass Masters annually) lake of about 45,000 acres connected to the Tennessee River. Guntersville proper is 7 miles south...small town look and atmosphere with a just a Publix in town but the big box stores across the bridge and up the hill if you must. Many great restaurants and marinas in the area. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
