We were fortunate enough to stay here twice this year. I miss it already. Yes, there are definitely improvements to be made. Laundry room being the worst! And things like paint/restoring picnic tables is cheap and very doable. The dog park could be quadruple in size. Bad stuff out of the way, the location is perfect if you love being in the mountains. The staff here are SUPER friendly. I already miss chatting music with the guy at the front desk. The cleaning and maintenance staff are always warm and welcoming. And next year we're going to each paint a rock to add to the snake out front! We're hoping to arrive May 1st next year when y'all open again. Can't wait!

Immaculate pools, hot tubs and clubhouses. Spacious sites. Lots of amenities. Every employee from the top down was very accommodating and polite during my stay. I know they are working hard to improve the park every season and I wouldn't hesitate to return!

We received a membership to Thousand Trails with the purchase of our 5th wheel. We love the Gunnison area and looked forward to spending 2 weeks there. The campground location is wonderful, the clubhouses and 2 swimming pools are great. Our site was not level but did have plenty of rock(neighbors left early as they didn’t have any rock and were tired of the mud). We noticed a general lack of maintenance throughout the park, including the sites, picnic tables and weeds. The laundry room was painfully small for a park of this size. When I went to do laundry, 1 other person was present so not bad, by the time I loaded my 2 washers, 5 people were in the small space and 3 waited outside. The WiFi didn’t require a password and was very unreliable. We didn’t have cell phone service (TMobile) at the site so couldn’t use our phones as hot spots. 2 staff members were great, 2 were fine and 2 were less than helpful. No dog run, they do not provide poop bags or convenient containers to place the bags in. Dumpsters were not convenient from where we were camped. We also noticed black tubing and wires running between campsites. One elderly gentleman tripped while setting up, fortunately, he wasn’t injured.

One of the better Thousand Trails parks. The roads were well kept, the pull through spot we had was very long and had plenty of space. The hookups were good (the sewer was positioned properly so we didn’t have to play hose gymnastics) The indoor pool and hot tub were fantastic, and the showers/bathrooms clean. The clubhouse was nice, had a cozy library and large gathering area for activities, pokeno, and bingo. The horse stables on site were fun- we went to visit the horses and give them treats a few times. Staff was reasonable and overall friendly. I do wish there was a spot in a clubhouse with toys for younger children but I won’t hold that against them. Close to the recreation area/ reservoir , river and the National Park.

My children and I just spent a few days at this lovely resort. I have absolutely no complaints at all 👍🏻 the pool and sauna was clean , our cabin provided more than what the website says ( linens, soaps, etc). We enjoyed horseback riding and having fun playing air hockey . The staff is very friendly as well 🙂 We had an absolute blast and we will definitely be back! Thanks for the great memories 🥰
