We came in early March and did the upper falls lookout. It was a very easy moderate walk with a walking path and only couple of gentle hills. Although it was raining we really enjoyed our walk and the scenery was lovely. The falls were very pretty with plenty of water running. Park office was closed this time of year but there were toilets available. Definitely a walk for the whole family. Enjoy.

Great hiking with wonderful views everywhere. Winter is a great time with less people, but can be slippery. Hikes of many lengths and difficulty on both sides of the river.

One of my favorite places to hike is Linville falls and on the weekday it is not crowded as it would be on the weekend and you get the same wonderful views :-)
