What a great place to stay! We had a spot by the river and I highly recommend that! Sites were clean and the staff friendly and very helpful--especially during the very busy apple picking season! Spaces are well laid out with fire pit, picnic table, and plenty of shade. We will definitely be back.

One of the nicest campgrounds on the east coast of the US these people try extra hard. My site had my own private dog park, which was outstanding. Sites are mostly concrete improved. Lots of picnic tables campfires lots of kids running around beautiful recreation area recommended highly.

We were a group of women taking our first RV trip, and the Blue Ridge KOA exceeded every expectation. Communication before and during our stay was excellent. They even gave us a number to text if we had questions, which made everything so easy. We arrived around 9:30 pm, and even that late, we were greeted by KOA staff who led us to our site, helped us back in, and got us fully set up in the dark. Huge shout-out to Daniel for being patient, kind, and incredibly helpful. Before arrival, we pre-ordered firewood via text since we knew the store would be closed. It was waiting for us when we got there. The office staff, especially Mickey, was wonderful and gave us contact info for local rides into town and back. They even helped us get propane before the store officially opened on the morning we left—thank you, Chandler. The campground was spotless, well-maintained, and clearly managed with pride. The bathrooms were some of the cleanest we’ve ever seen, with great water pressure. We enjoyed chatting with Rob as he made his rounds and loved playing the golf-ball game on the patio. Our site was near the river and perfectly peaceful. The hammocks were a great touch, and watching the river otters play was an unexpected highlight. For our first RV experience, we couldn’t have chosen a better place. It’s easy to see why this KOA is award-winning. We’ll definitely be back.

Beautiful little campground!! We really enjoyed our stay and the staff were so kind and inviting. My only request would be to put a little light at the playground maybe a sensor light. It does say it closes at dusk but that’s like at 7:30p as cooler weather comes and that’s super early for kids, In my opinion. We will definitely be back!!! Just a picture of me cooking breakfast lol

Our truck and trailer were having mechanical issues and we were unable to make it to our North Carolina destination. We had to pull over in Blue Ridge and were advised to stay in the KOA down the road. Long story short, our stay at the KOA was wonderful. This was the first time that we ever camped in a trailer. Daniel, who is on the staff there, was EXCEPTIONAL. He took the time to help us set up camp and explained how to do things in the future. He was so pleasant and extremely helpful. The restrooms in the campground were impeccable. They were spacious and clean. I cannot say enough good things about our experience. Thank you for such a great stay.
