The region is rich in Pennsylvania Dutch culture, offering a unique mix of local history and rural charm just minutes away from your campsite.

My family LOVES BLUE ROCKS!! We camp at Blue Rocks whenever we can find the time. The other campers that we’ve met have always been friendly and respectful, the bathrooms/ showers are comfortable and well maintained. We hike the beautifully maintained and appropriately challenging trails that take you to lookout points on the Appalachian Trail- the blue trail is very doable and the yellow is more challenging (quite steep at times!) but worth it. Our kids are so proud, happy, and ready to chill by the time we return! In the summer, we hit up the pool and Woody’s restaurant and in the colder months we hang by our fire and usually get to know a neighbor. The playground and general store are available and well kept. The staff is always friendly and on task. We always feel like we are in nature and in friendly community. My only problem with Blue Rocks is that it has set a high bar that I can’t seem to find elsewhere!

Absolutely love it! Highly recommended 100%. Great time as always stayed week in July and this past weekend. Several years renting cabin. Many in the rustic cabin by the pond and loved it and tried out Arrow Head cabin and loved it. So peaceful and beautiful. Cabins are very well kept clean. Everyone working there is so nice. Looking forward to next time getting ready to book next stay ♥️

Blue rocks is an amazing campground. It's a very unique place. It has a Boulder Field it has a giant glacier field as well as incredible hiking trails that ultimately connect to the Appalachian trail. One of the most family-friendly campgrounds around. Rangers Sue is vigilant and has no mercy for excess noise and unruly campers. The owners are also super friendly and helpful once they let me charge my dead battery in their automotive garage. We love this place so much we got a seasonal site.

We love staying at the Blue Rocks campground during Halloween time! Our kids love trick-or-treating and the costume contests. Everyone is so friendly! The camp sites are spread out perfectly - we can see other people but we still feel like we have our privacy. And the rocks are absolutely beautiful!!

I’ll unpack the pros and cons for you, but the bottom line is that there are much better campgrounds out there. Pros- the blue rocks formation is cool, the campground is located along a hiking trail that’s scenic at the top, the Arrowhead Point cottages were newer and clean, there is a nice spot for a group around the Arrowhead cottages. Cons- the campground has narrow, rocky dirt roads that aren’t well-marked for nighttime so it’s easy to get lost. Two cars can’t pass, so one has to pull over to the side which sometimes has a ditch where I damaged my car). The newer Arrowhead cabins have no stove and only a mini-fridge. The fishing hole is a puddle. The arcade is sad. Despite this, we laughed a lot and had a great time. We had such a great time that at 9:30 pm on a Saturday night, the park ranger came and told us we were too loud, when no one was near us and quiet time is 11 p.m.!!!! We will not be back.
