One of the quietest and funnest places to stay ever. Perfect size, perfect location, great fishing and peaceful. Add in a jump pillow for kids or a bigger playground and it be perfect. Only complaint I got in my walk around was not enough kid play area at times when there not fishing. Otherwise no complaints

This place is unbelievable it’s so clean pretty and the staff is awesome. Met Heather she’s very friendly and Otis is so kind and was helpful to us as well. This place is a must go and stay place. So beautiful peaceful and clean. Didn’t want to leave and come back home. I will be back and the river house is a must stay.

My family and myself enjoyed our stay. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and go above and beyond. We were going on a boat ride and I forgot an umbrella to have shade for my youngest, the store didn't have any, but the staff got their personal umbrella and loaned it to us for our outting. Rooms, pavilion, pool, and pond areas were all clean and well maintained. We had tried to get a golf cart all weekend but luck wasn't on our side as others were beating us to the rentals, the day we left my son was still wanting to ride one as I turned in the rooms keys, the lady working allowed us to take one for a few minutes to drive him around the lodge, he was ecstatic to say the least. This lodge is 100% family oriented especially for two under two with loads of energy. Thank you for the awesome stay and amazing staff for making my babies first minication as fun as could be. We will definitely be back.

Blue Water Resort offers a great location for those who want to boat and fish on the water. In retrospect, I wish we had done more research before booking to camp in our RV. We have dogs who love water, but there was no beach area or entry point for dogs to access the water. The dog park was nice and shady, but the huge water bowl was caked with mud in the bottom. On our first full day there, I asked if someone could clean out the bowl, but it never got cleaned out. The store had a nice area underneath with a huge screen TV and lots of tables and chairs, but the area went mostly unused. It would have been nice to have daily events with ice cream, watermelon, a keg, etc. to beat off the heat, especially given that the temperatures were in the upper 90s all week.

I have stayed at Bluewater off and on for a couple of years. I've only had one issue and they handled it very professionally and in a timely manner. My issue also had nothing to do with the park itself but another guest. The park is clean, quiet and the staff is friendly. I do agree with a previous review. The ladies behind counter seem more annoyed by my presence than helpful most times. Also the lodge is not one mile away from the ramp. I seen that in a review. It's less than that. Grass is taken care of, rates are good and they don't over charge the electric. You pay for what you use nothing more. Bathrooms have always been clean. They have CORNHOLE, FISHING, GOLF.. etc LAUNDRY room however is annoying. They need new machines. It took me four hours sometimes to do 2 regular size loads. All photos were taken at Bluewater
