Great hidden secret near Elberton. The park was older in some respects, but clean and beautiful. All the facilities were up to date. The trail seemed underused in some places and hard to follow. I gad to blaze my own way occasionally. If I lived near Elberton this would be one of my favorite places.

Nice, quiet family campground on Clarks Hill. Located near Richard Russell dam. 2 camping areas..Savannah side and Broad River side. Nice boat ramps. All of the campground hosts and staff very friendly and helpful. Poor cell service, but logging into campground wifi provides service and works in most parts of the campground.

Super nice staff and great camping spot in Elberton, GA. Beautiful lake and plenty of amenities. My wife and I took our niece and nephew for the weekend before our niece heads off to college. We RV and tent camped on this trip. Crazy storm the last night that was a cool experience. Next morning, I woke up early the last day to fish which is the picture I chose to post of the sunrise over the park. Memories to last a lifetime.

This particular park has been on our bucket list for almost 20 years. After losing our fur child a while back, we decided now was the time for some inner peace and talking to Jesus through nature's tranquility. Our stay in the Yurt has been just what we expected and all we need right now. They're very clean with comfortable beds and the bathhouse is as well. Looking forward to some fishing tomorrow in the beautiful lake.
