I *imagine* that this park is at least 4+ stars for anyone with kids and/or who likes to fish (I've heard it's great here on Muskrat Lake). My four stars are based on the fact that I do not wish to lower this businesses star rating overall. Also: the grounds and facilities are very well maintained by the hardworking owners and staff. The folks with long-term trailers here are easy to get along with and their 'pride of ownership' is a visible theme. As a middle-aged, child-free, single woman, my personal experience is closer to three stars. Given that most people my age have families travelling with them, however, it seems safe to say that this family campground is 4-5 stars for anyone in those circumstances. Furthermore, if you're looking to socialise while camping, there are often events on weekends (particularly Saturdays) at the rec hall; sometimes there's music for dancing, other times there are Euchre tournaments, and sometimes Santa Claus might even visit in July. The store at the office is reasonably priced with a good selection (especially considering that it's not a huge space); so if you forget any common items or want a treat, they've likely got you covered.

My hubby & I just spent a week @ this amazing Campground with family. We stayed in the Bunkie by the beach. It was so relaxing, quiet & the view amazing. Everything you need is right there in the park. Staff are awesome, very helpful & the place is so clean. Everyone is friendly & we can't wait to visit again. Tks Bonnie ❤️

We have nothing to compare and hopefully we never will! Bonavista is our home away from home. This is our third year camping here, we have made so many friends and memories over the years. We love the views, the entertainment and most of all the community of people. The owner and her family work hard to provide a safe and happy environment for all campers, children and their guests. We love our spacious lot on the hill overlooking the park and most of all our BV family! You wont be disappointed if you choose to camp here. Pitch a tent or bring your tour bus BV will accomodate your needs. We are new to the camping world and weren’t sure what to expect. I can say that the campground exceeded our expectations all around. We felt welcome and everyone was very friendly, including the owners. I’m not sure what there is to complain about, we especially loved the beach and paddling on the lake. We made friends with many people but it wasn’t so busy that we felt crowded. The showers were clean and everything was well maintained. The store was very affordable for snacks and groceries which was a nice touch. We look forward to going back next year!

It’s a home away from home! I’ve never been surrounded by the best group of people before I parked here. The owner does an amazing job to make sure we’re safe, and happy. This is by far the best place I’ve even been camping. You will feel welcomed the minute you step foot in this camp ground. Super kid friendly. The owner is amazing with the kids. And they are their first priority!!
