We had a park model here for 4 years and we couldn't wait to sell our place and get out of there. We sold our unit one year ago. Almost all of the amenities are paid and cared for by the residents and the clubs that use them. The softball fields, for example, are taken care of by the softball teams and the money they raise, not by the park. The golf driving range is taken care of by one man. It's open from about 9 - noon three days a week but that schedule didn't start until December/January each year. Before then it's closed. If you can't get there during those hours you're out of luck. The women's bathroom at the rec hall pool never had properly working toilets and park management refused to replace them the entire time we lived there. The new giant pool they built is 4 feet deep all around and has little room for chairs. The park water is often suddenly shut off and no one knows when it'll come back on. When it finally does you have a boil water notice. The trash? Omg. Over flowing bins all of the time. Though I think they've at least moved them away from the pool area since we were there. The lot rent increases approximately $1000 every single year. The "restaurant" changed hands every year we were there. The area near the park's water plant (the park doesn't have city water) smells like sewage almost all the time. According to my family and friends who are still there, nothing has changed, so they're all likely going to sell as well. Management spent tons of money on making the park pretty, and it truly is. But residents want working toilets and water, etc. before more pretty trees. There is an upside; there are several fun activities to join.

A very special thank you to Laura Fraser for taking the time to answer my concerns and questions about coming to Bonita terr this winter. Laura made herself available every time I called to ask more questions giving me honest answers to the location of the resort and all the activities that are available here. looks like the resort is close to beaches, restaurant's, and adventures to explore.. Laura searched for the best location for my husband and I to stay at the resort that is close to everything they offer here at Bonita Terr making our choice easy. Laura helped with filling out the application which took less than 5 mins to complete. I will update when we arrive in January. Laura has a wonderful excitement for this community and after researching 4 other resorts in the area I am excited to be part of this community of people/new friends.. Bonita terr looks to have all the amenities that we are looking for. Thank You and we are looking forward to meet everyone here...

Scott and Lisa in the main office were extremely friendly and helpful, sounds staff was friendly and respectful. I have family that lives there and I'm looking at buying a home within the community. It an amazing place to call home. I highly recommend this community.

The people in the community are wonderful. That is why people chose here. Propert Management Co. Not so much. Poor communication regarding why things don't work, what the status is of repairs, and if they will even be done. Water to the entire complex can be shut off without warning. Management office makes frequent and costly mistakes. Had great difficulty viewing property and getting appropriate approvals to purchase. It's like they don't want people to move here. I'd give them zero stars if I could.

This was a great place to stay - new management has out priced people - $10k a season- only certain times to take your trash - too many rules - you do not own your lot - keep looking 😥💔

We own a park model in this location. The park offers many amenities, so there's always activities to enjoy. We enjoy bocce league,& shuffleboard too. The only real negative is our lot rent which has gone up 2,000, 2,000 & 1,000 dollars in the past 3 years! It's now $9,500 yearly.

Management does not resound to residents need and requests. Clean water is a major issue. Garbage is an issue. Just look at previous reviews, management does not even respond to anything negative... the wonderful amenities in this park are run by the residents... Don't even get me started on the entry fees for the mobile home section..100% more than the RV section...I feel bad for residents in the mobile home section trying to sell 🥺

Homes are very outdated from the 1970's with what appears to be no control over the additions that were put on. Not very well maintained. THIS IS NOT AN RV PARK! Although they advertise as on it is primarily a signal and double wide park. Many are not well maintained. The park's amenities are nice with two pools and a broken hot tub, several pickle ball courts, Bocci ball, tennis, and their famous baseball diamonds. This park absolutely doesn't need the guarded gated front entrance. I hope they continue their attempt to remodel but until they put some quality control on the housing this place will be a dump.

You would have to be the most desperate person without a place to stay to to ever want to rent here They have their own sewer plant on site and if you get near 1st 2nd or 3rd street don't plan on eating at home murex properties bought the place 2 years ago And is backup for sale again because of the outdated water and sewer plant

Came down over the 4th of July weekend with limited time to view Bonita Terra. Sales Manager Scott, was not even working today, the 4th of July, but took us around to view several homes. He took his time, was honest, and answered all of our questions. Taking time away from his family to do so. The community looks very nice, we were just here on a fact finding tour. Was very impressed with Scott and his willingness to assist us.

Usually lots to do but under Covid restrictions this year. Baseball lover's dream park.
