A great getaway in the Boone area. Peaceful and relaxing place on a farm. Goats and donkeys to feed and watch. The small pond and surrounding cattle fields offer good views. I stayed in a deluxe cabin and it was perfect for me and my 2 dogs. Everything we needed with a nice porch to sip coffee on and read in the mornings while the pups watched the world go by. I highly recommend this KOA.

This is a nice, clean campground. Though the roads are a bit steep in areas, the sites, themselves, seem pretty level. The tent sites are spacious, and the cabins appear to be well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the other facilities are clean and well maintained. We've stayed here twice and because of the convenient location to downtown Boone, Blowing Rock, and Banner Elk, we're planning another stay soon.

This campground was nice and quiet. I think they may separate those with children to another area, but not certain. Camp spots pretty level for the most part. We were on row H. Spots are fairly close, but that's to be expected. They had put put mini golf but it wasn't inviting enough looking to want to play. All around good stay. Location is great to be able to go into Boone or even Blowing Rock. Windy road in so be aware with big campers. However, there were several there. Bathrooms clean which was appreciated.

Loved this campground. We found everything clean and well taken care of. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. An added plus was the adorable farm animals next door; Donkeys and goats. The dog park was a nice size and very helpful in burning off energy for our fur babies. We would definitely stay here again.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. My favorite part was the farm animals. You could see cows raising on a hill in the distance. The goats were so cute and funny. I loved watching them run around the pound in a group. I loved feeding the donkeys. The old school playground was great for my eight year old soon. It was a popular meet up spot for the children in the late afternoon. The bathrooms were very clean and tidy. The staff was friendly and welcoming. There is a neat surprise if you look inside the silo. The location was great. It is super close to all the attractions that we wanted to see. I did feel like there was much less scheduled activities for the kids, then previous KOAs that I have been too, but we will loved it here anyways.
