We were SO excited to arrive in PEI and start our adventures here! We had come across Canada using KOA’s. Firstly, hearing what do you want from an elderly lady in the office was an odd way to welcome someone. Hi! I’m here to check into our site and start exploring your province of PEI She checked our multi day reservation and said “that will be $20 bucks extra for early check in. What? Seriously I asked? We’ve been across Canada and check ins never been an issue (mostly night check ins, a one for sure a bit early). She said “well I’m not other KOA’s am I? Just her negativity and attitude made me say well is there somewhere we can park our diesel RV and tow for the time being and set off to see the province. She pointed way out there in the field. My husband said oh, just pay it because then we can set up and take off and be done. Upon leaving our side of the rv park, we noticed about 29 stalls with only a handful of parked rv’s. Mostly empty What’s the $20 extra all about?!?!? It was such an unwelcoming gesture on her part. That’s the rules she said. It left a bad taste in my mouth. We’re a self contained unit so I can’t comment on any amenities if there were, but it’s right off the highway and central to all three coastal drives so it suit our purpose of leaving the beast somewhere and set off to investigate. It’s a bald field! We gave it a 3 star only for location, not ambience for sure.

Myself, my husband, and our dog thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay here! The facilities were incredibly clean for a campground, great water pressure in the showers, our dog loved using the fenced in dog park, and we appreciated how well kept the grounds were. RV spot are very spacious, and having all hookups, including our own pump station, made things so easy. We'll definitely make this our go-to spot for future trips to PEI!

I don't tend to leave reviews, but I wanted to give this campground a shout out. I ended up booking a site last minute after my girls decided that they wanted to stay somewhere with a pool for a few nights during our week on PEI. This is smaller than some other KOAs we have stayed at, but it is very obvious how much care the owners take in caring for the campground. Facilities were meticulously kept, staff were very friendly and campground was very quiet. Since we booked last minute, we were in the field that some reviewers have mentioned. It was very obvious to us that staff will only book every 2nd site unless there is more demand. This is very much appreciated as then you don't feel as though you are on top of your neighbour. Others have mentioned that the field is not level - I wouldn't expect it to be, but we found it much more level than many, many campgrounds where we have stayed. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Stayed in the on site rv. Would recommend they pump up the tires a bit though as everytiem someone even rolls over in bed the whole thing sways like crazy! This rv worked perfectly for us and was very clean. We were able to have our little one play on the playground and even enjoy live music with us both nights we were there. Everyone was super friendly.

Very clean and friendly, all the amenities one could need and close to stores and restaurants. The check-in was full of information and we felt welcomed. They have lots of activities and a variety of camping options. We will come back again! Kevin & Sue
