This is my second year seasonal at this wonderful campground. It is very well maintained, the bathrooms are always clean, the pool is always crystal clear! Management and the team are fantastic and very helpful. They set up lots of great events for the kids and adults! I hope to spend many more years here!

This campground redefines 'roughing it' to mean 'actively fighting for survival.' the pool is unkept, green and always full of debris; the bathrooms resemble crime scenes, and the 'scenic views' consist of a landfill and a family of raccoons plotting world domination. I have had better sleeps in my car during a hailstorm. If you enjoy sleep deprivation, questionable hygiene, and the constant fear of being eaten by something, this place is paradise. Otherwise, I'd recommend literally any other location on Earth.

Last summer I drove from campground to campground looking for the best spot to park my family seasonally. I went as far as middle of Nova Scotia and all the way to Saint Andrew’s NB searching for my perfect getaway. This year we got into the waitlist for Bouctouche Baie Chalet and Camping and let me tell you- we got SO LUCKY!!!!!! The activities for the children are non stop. Which was our main goal, to keep the kids busy! But they even have fantastic events for the adults. Last weekend we even had a band come to play and we had a freaking blast! The kids didn’t want the night to end when we had the Christmas in July- and let me tell you, the staff went out of their way dressing up and making it special for the kiddos. And Halloween was amazing, so many people get involved and the kids had just as much candy, maybe even more then actual Halloween. The owners are fantastic- they are always on the ball. Not that I have had any issues that needed resolving, but I know if I did, they would be ON IT. I have personally witnessed the owners making their rounds past kid curfew to sweetly direct children back to their campsites to ensure their safety home. And let’s be honest, that’s not really his job, but he cares so much that he is always out and about doing what needs to be done. Their store is jam packed with everything you could possibly need when camping- and the prices are sooooo fair compared to other canteens!!! The campground is very clean and large, lots of spots to walk around and explore. The pool is always crystal clean and the parks are fantastic with so much to do!! Our favourite part of being in the park is how welcoming it is. We just LOVE it here. If you are looking for a place to stay, seasonal, or just temporary for a trip- trust me THIS IS THE PLACE!! It is also a 4 minute walk to the beach, which is a more private and sandy spot and it is so beautiful! So that’s a huge bonus :D

I have just completed my second summer as a seasonal camper at this campground, and have visited the campground on multiple occasions before becoming seasonal. I am a person who likes his privacy, and peace and quiet. I prefer being around people who are respectful and welcoming, and who respect my space. That being said, Bouctouche Bay Camping has offered everything I was looking for in a campground. The new owners are very approachable and friendly. The people that I have met and interacted with at the campground are welcoming and always willing to help out. My two young kids love the parks and the pool. And not to mention the kilometers of beaches just a 5 minute walk away. What downsides that we have experienced this summer were only brought on by the severe heat and dry conditions that the area has experienced. But that is out of everyone's control. I just booked for my third seasonal summer, and plan to continue on doing so!

Nice campground, very clean and lots to do but the lots are small and crowded with no privacy. Great for a family but not for a couple looking forward to a quieter weekend. I wish we had been warned that Saturday night would be a circus. The music coming from the swimming pool area was so loud that we had to leave the campground until 11. Even when we came back there were men talking and laughing loudly until midnight. Sunday night was much quieter, I will say. There is almost no cell service in the area and the wifi only works near the swimming pool.
