Winter review. Good launch point for some of the more interesting and challenging x-country ski trails in PLPP. Whiskey Jack and Packer's trails start close to this parking lot.

Great camp ground, the store was equipped with pretty much everything someone could have forgotten at home. The sites are decent sizes and everything was cleaned well. Firewood was ridiculously priced for the size of the bundle in my opinion but great campground.

I didn't camp here but visited friends who were camping here. I heard from staff that it fills up most weekends, but there are sites that can be reserved. I will definitely be back to camp here myself in the future. There are so many things to do in the immediate area, be it hiking, cycling, fishing, boating or star gazing I stayed until about 10:30pm (October) and view of the stars was stunning.

Worst camping experience I’ve had in Alberta. The inexperienced campers next to us spread food everywhere while trying to feed wildlife and attracted a grizzly bear walking right through our campsite. Blows my mind campers here believe attracting bears is a wise thing to do. It is unsafe for campers, unsafe for staff and most unsafe for the bears. Incredibly disrespectful to nature. The check in staff was rude, unhelpful and price gouging. Wish I got her name, as the second folks we ran into were super nice, so there’s clearly good people upfront. Overall, the whole process is inconvenient. I guess they are more concerned with getting as much money as they can from you instead of the safety of their campsite. I’m all for supporting the Alberta parks but definitely never coming back here. I’ve camped elsewhere in PLPP and all those campgrounds were great. Much better run and you still have access to the trail system and lakes.

Beautiful campground, very quiet. The woman who checked up in at the front desk was lovely. Only drawback is that the water was not yet running (as of May 30 weekend) but that's not shocking in the mountains. There is a dump station about a 5k drive away.
