Bow Riversedge is a campground that cannot easily be described as it goes beyond your imagination & words don’t do it justice. We are privileged to call it our summer home - It is located in one of the prime places in Alberta and it’s proximity to family activities, nature, shops is wonderful. Jacquie and Dolores has been an amazing duo when it comes to making sure we are satisfied with our stay & they include campground activities such as karaoke, pot luck dinners and games to make sure each person staying there has a memorable time and experience. Their warm personalities and their love for the community is visible in everything they do! I would highly recommend this campground to anyone who travels through Cochrane.

I had an amazing stay here! The staff were extremely helpful, nice and respectful. The grounds were beautiful and extremely clean. There is a beautiful path all along the Bowriver which was so nice to walk along each morning and evening. The campground is quiet at night and everyone respects the quiet hours. There is a new co-op grocer that just opened up right down the street, which was great! I walked to Walmart and Canadian tire a few times and was just a short walk. I would highly recommend this campground for anyone looking for beautiful, clean surroundings, quiet and helpful staff!

Pros: There is a pleasant river walk outside the campsite where dogs can be off leash, hence the 4 stars. Our dog enjoyed this very much. Good laundry facility and clean bathrooms. Full facilities in each site. Child & dog friendly. Cons: campground was a well-organized “parking lot” with many sites tightly packed together. No privacy and quite noisy with children on bikes. Expensive compared to other campgrounds. Getting to the campground was challenging, as one must navigate through the town of Cochrane via many roads & turns. It was a convenient stop for one night, but it would never be a destination for us.

Very friendly RV sites which is very well kept and has excellent plots. There are hedges between each site so you feel like there's an element of privacy. The laundry room is a great standard. The bathrooms were under development while we were there so unisex bathrooms but very clean and well maintained. Highly recommend, a quick drive to the Calgary park and ride!

I always love coming here! The staff is super friendly and the campground is spotless. It can be a bit tricky to get into your site sometimes, but it’s totally manageable. And there’s this awesome trail along the river where dogs can run and play freely. Just be careful of snakes, though! We saw one (but it was harmless).

Very route staff not very helpful at all they never answer the phone at reception i would not recommend any one with children as they are not very child friendly! They really don’t Appreciate your customer! It’s such a beautiful camping ground just such a shame the staff isn’t as nice as the cramping ground!

Nice folks in the office. Right beside an off leash dog park by the Bow River. Nice and clean. Close to shopping. Every spot has a grass patch and bushes separating the RVs. I see people complaining that they charge for the showers. Most RV parks charge for this. Only complaint I have, is that the showers are only hot for the first 30 seconds, tepid afterwards. Us seniors seize up in tepid, and shiver afterwards 🥴

What a lovely campground. The bushes around the sites offer both shade and privacy. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We got our morning puppy love right outside the gates in the off leash park before our daily walk on the extensive pathway system following the river. We enjoyed daily sightings of deer and many varieties of birds. Close proximity to both Calgary and the mountains.
