Probably one of the most beautiful places in the U.S. Pando is a very unique organism, the largest in mass in the entire world. If you are a fan of ecology, this is a must see.

We stayed in one of the hotel rooms. Two queen beds, table, sink, stovetop, good sized fridge/freezer, bathroom, plenty of space. Rooms were very clean. I could sit on the porch and look out at lake all day! Customer service was top notch! We visited during the Monroe Fire. Unfortunately, before we arrived the power went out, due to the fires, and remained off throughout the night. The staff did everything they could to ensure our stay was still enjoyable. They were able to connect a generator to the store and we were still able to eat some delicious burgers and salads from the cafe. Although our stay didn't look like we expected, it was an amazing vacation! We will be back!!

Came here for lunch. There are only two restaurants on this large lake. Food was great! It's an order counter and you must sit outside to eat but there are many tables, some with shade but when it rained, there was no cover. From the picnic tables you have a good view of the lake. It's busy here and a popular food counter since they have ice cream too. Large gravel parking lot. Store has a huge selection of souvenirs especially t-shirts and pullovers since the weather in the summer changes fast and drastically! Very cute, lots of flowers and color, rocking bench on the front porch. Clean unisex restrooms (2 singles). Friendly staff. Lots of full size RVs in the campground, full hook up available. Marina is right there too. Although it's a popular lake, it didn't have a crowded atmosphere.

Stayed one night in a pull-through campsite. Was a pleasant stay. Neighbors were quiet and considerate. Open pit fires only allowed in the very few designated fire pits around the camp. Had electrical and water at each campsite. Only certain campsites had trees to set up hammocks. On-Site Cafe uses beef tallow for cooking. Cute t-shirts and knick-knacks from the souvenir store

Upon arrival to rent a boat it went well getting life jackets and helping me put them in the boat. It has been forever since I jave operated one. I had to holler at the attendant to help me learn how to start it. He was heading back to the shack. Went out for a few hrs and when we returned I unloaded our stuff and family at the courtesy dock and proceeded back to rhe rental slip. I am disabled and really struggle with balance. After the 4th time trying to get it in the slip to where I could tie off I finally made it. Tied the boat off myself and when I went I to the shack there he was taking a nap. I have worked both at fish lake and panguitch lake in my youth and we were required to sit outside the shack to help the customer dock load and unload. Dang near went in the drink trying to balance as well as hook this boat up alone
