Nice state park. Staff keeps the vault toilets clean. They rent cool little cabins too.

We have been here 2 times this summer. Nice campground, large sites. The wind comes up suddenly so always wear a life vest when in the lake.

Beautiful views with ample sunshine. Campgrounds provide easy access to the lake. Park is well maintained and toilets were clean. Overall it is a great place to spend a few hours with the family and kids.

The Marina at Boysen has the biggest Prime Rib I've ever had. Delicious, filling with baked potato and a salad. There are plenty of frozen drinks to cool down with. It's getting hot out & looking forward to an awesome summer of fun !! Great breakfast sandwiches done your way & the sausage biscuits are best I found anywhere.

It's been years since our family was able to take a vacation together. We had a blast kayaking, fishing though we came up empty handed. The space we rented and cabins our kids rented were perfect. Though there were a lot of people there we were still afforded lots of privacy. So many good times and laughs. The peace was unmistakable.

Looks like a beautiful place, too bad there is no sign warning you of the need to pay. Paying makes sense, but driving in unaware does not. Bring cash and leave your glass containers at home.

Very frustrated with the Wyoming State Park system. We are traveling through Wyoming. We have attempted to stay at the parks but their signage is confusing. It appears from May to September 30th is reservations only. Some of the sites and signs look like first come first serve. But the fine print is reservations only. Is the State of Wyoming trying to discourage out of state campers? They post website and phone numbers at the gate entrance to make reservations. But there is no service for miles? They have lost several days of revenue. We won't be wasting anymore time looking for Wyoming State Parks in the future.

We stayed one night at the Lower Wind River Campground. The location is beautiful, nestled between the walls of the canyon, with the river flowing by. There is a historical marker that tells about the original dam on the Wind River which was near the campground. You can still see remains of the dam. You do need to know that reservations are required May-September, and there is no phone reception at the camp. So either make reservations in advance, or be prepared to drive about 4 miles to the dam where there is some reception. There are two first-come-first-served sites at the camp - we were able to grab one of those. The campground is right next to the road - traffic overnight was not bad but started up early in the morning.

Just drove through. Beautiful place. Huge reservoir. Nice camp grounds all along the water.

Way way way way too many people. The park was clean and water was awesome. We had three days with little to no wind, that's like hitting three holes in one with one shot. What a great time. Just wish people knew how to act like adults and be respectful.
