This place is great, especially if you have kids. They have full hook ups, clean bathrooms and showers, laundry room, kids playground, dog park area and so much to do with the family. The parking spots are sea shells, but we were able to level our motor home ok. I give it 4⭐️ because this place is expensive. Over $100 a night to stay here 😲 So for that I don’t recommend for short term stay with no kids. The front staff was very nice as well. Overall we enjoyed our stay here but the price really got me. Not worth it if you are just hooking up, and are not utilizing the “farm activities”

It was an amazing experience. We got to ride a train ($3/person) it was great, feels like you go back in time to 17-18 hundreds. Kids got candy and we bought fresh fruit.

What a fun place! Take your kids or grandkids here for lots of activities on site. Glamping, silo camping, Conestoga wagons, nice large wooded sites in half the campground. Petting zoo, tiny villages, exotic animals like water buffalo, rheas and zebras, a train ride, bike/trike rentals, game room and playground. We loved the country market with veggies grown here. Private bath/shower stalls are wonderful! There is a catch and release fishing lake, but in March 2025 it was very low. Note: a few sites have full hookups, but they book up fast. We will definitely be back.

Such a fun, family friendly campground. We stayed last weekend, it was our second time there. They have added a cute Tiny Town that my son is still taking about. The cabin was clean, warm and provided plenty of space for our family of 3. The bathrooms are immaculate. There a playgrounds, an obstacle course, a game room, and a coffee trailer just to name a few things to do. The kids will love it!

Such a great place! We stayed in one of the log cabins and it was nice and clean! The cabins have a/c and a mini fridge too! Driving around the campsite, we learned that the covered wagons even have A/C (the website didn't give that detail). The bathrooms were clean and the showers were great. There's even a laundry facility. Also extra bonus that I noticed was that each cabin site had an outdoor water bib and picnic table. We went during the slow season and off hours, so we didn't get to experience any of the fun things to do but it all looked great! The property was all very well maintained and the extra touch of splashes of colors with annual flower beds was great! This is the perfect place for a family with elementary aged kiddos to get away to for a fun weekend retreat that won't break the bank but will create lots of great memories!

Great place to stay outside of busy Sarasota. Quiet Campground, very nice and clean. Bathrooms and laundry facilities are conveniently located and we'll maintained. Staff are warm and friendly. Plenty of animals for the kids. Will stay again.

This was our second stay here and we’ve already booked a third. We have four videos total now in our KOA playlist on our channel on YouTube covering this KOA. This review, however, I’d like to highlight the food! Forget messing up your stuff to cook, grab awesome finds from The Eat Shack or the farm stand itself! We’ve now had a total of three breakfasts and two suppers from there. Never ever disappointed! The burgers are absolutely outstanding! My husband loves the fries. Breakfast might not look like much but the nice fresh ingredients used doesn’t go unnoticed by my palate! Try some of their canned goodies!

We booked a covered wagon to stay in as we thought it would be a neat and different experience. In pictures you can see the lights inside, but didn't notice it saying no electricity in the comments. As soon as we stepped in, none of the lighting or electrical outlets worked. We had to have electricity, so immediately called (twice), left voice-mail, and emailed regarding our reservation. We ended up paying $70 for a place we "stayed in" for 1 minute and then drove to another town to stay. Driving through the campground, it looks to have some neat amenities for kids. But I'm basing my rating solely on the poor customer service. It's been a week and I still haven't heard from them and don't expect to. Very poor customer service for a place like this.

What a great campground! Lots of things for the young ones to do and learn. You are truly "down on the Farm" with a variety of animals, vegetable market, you pick opportunities, game rooms, rides, level spacious sites and very clean restrooms. Topped with an awesome staff!

What an amazing experience here at the Hunsader KOA! The family that owns it are just amazing people! The deluxe cabin was beautiful, clean and spacious, the grounds are just breathtaking and the petting zoo? Forget about it! What a cool experience. They have a plethora of wonderful exotic animals! So bummed that we missed their Christmas event. Thank you for the awesome stay!
