Breezy Oaks RV Park

As a decorated Veteran and long-time traveler, I’ve stayed at countless RV parks across North America. But Breezy Oaks in Bushnell, Florida wasn’t just disappointing—it was triggering. The experience left me feeling unsafe, disrespected, and misled. Upon arrival, I witnessed the front desk staff being aggressively berated by the manager, Rena, over their outdated computer system. The staff were all new. That alone should raise red flags. The resort advertises free Wi-Fi and Cable. Months before my stay, I was assured by Rena that upgraded Wi-Fi would be ready. Instead, I was asked to rent a modem for $50. The system failed on day two. When I asked for an update, Rena dismissed me with, “We HOPE soon,” while denying any responsibility. Six days later, still no service. If you pay for a service and it’s not provided, that’s a breach of contract. How long would you wait if it were water or electricity? Work-from-home travelers require uninterrupted internet service. I was also misled about my neighbor. I was told it was a single male. In reality, it was a high-security perimeter, on elevated posts, night delivery operation run by a shadowy woman. Multiple vehicles arrived under my bedroom slide at 2am, accompanied by coughing and pungent aromas. I was told they were exempt from the 10pm noise curfew. The level of security and activity raised serious concerns for my safety and that of other guests. I made the decision to leave. No guest—especially those of us in the 55+ community—should feel unsafe or deceived. My service to this country was to protect freedom, not to be treated with hostility by management. To our 37K OTA full-time RV traveling followers: We will continue to share traveling experiences, which include safety issues for 55+ and Veterans. If this helps you make a safer choice for your Florida stay, please share. #BreezyOaks #BreezyOaksRV #FloridaRV #RVBushnell #potnearbushnell #RVsafefor seniors #55+floridarv #9683 CoRd671 #9683CR671

The new ~200 sites are finished being built. Ready for more RVers. Now they just need to plant trees. Breezy Oaks.....Oaks on the original sites, Breezy on the new sites. Everybody is friendly. Downtown is five miles away. Great place to relax, its residents are quiet. There is noise coming from I-75. We would come again.

Very nice quiet rv park. Few trees, right next to I75 so you do get road noise but the back section is quieter

Community Center is always clean & comfortable with plenty of seating for our acoustic music jam! Love this place!

It was very hard to find a place that accepts 4 dogs. They have a small fenced in yard by the office for your dogs to run around. Otherwise they must be on a leash. Grounds are kept up daily. The staff are wonderful people.I pretty much keep to myself. The residents here that I have come across are all so friendly. Quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Thank you

Staff was very pleasant, polite and accommodating in arranging our stay, which was ill advisedly planned last minute leaving very limited reasonably priced options for monthly RV sites in FL. Location is pretty much middle of nowhere, but did allow longer day trips to Weeki Wachee Springs/Springhill, Crystal River, Disney, Cedar Key, Brooksville, etc.. Site included decent cable internet service through router modem loaner. Note that, at least in our section, there was rippin road noise, and check google map - there is a massive INDUSTRIAL CHICKEN FARM/PLANT directly across the I-75 and we had daily stench sessions in the later hot muggy afternoons when breeze shifted from the West (the breeze in the park name has a flavour) so we adjusted daily routines accordingly. Note also the HUGE PRISON COMPLEX in the same area. We stayed a month and actually inquired into potentially extending for a week or two, and assumed at the same rate, just prorated by the week… but was informed that no, despite it being end of season (no demand), you have to pay the cranked gouging doubled daily rate for any additional weeks… Absurd! Had just stayed a month, and you get punitive rates if you want to stay with them longer …..left a bad taste - no way to encourage a return next season… So we moved on and found significantly better daily rates in a better area… They need to revise that silly business killing policy..

This park must have been a lot nicer in the day. We would be lucky at this point to go a full day without water being shut off. They are doing a bunch of construction right now. Super loud everyday. I understand the construction but you should let people know it won't be an enjoyable stay. This is one of the most annoying places I've ever stayed at. It's pretty expensive compared to other places that I actually enjoyed. Absolutely no shade except for small tree line. Good luck to everyone. Happy findings

We enjoyed our stay and getaway from Michigan's winter. It's a friendly senior community of mostly snowbirds and permanent residents (very few, if any, children). Weekly activities, breakfast and lunch served daily, laundromat, and clean showers. Withlacooche State Park is nearby for outdoor activities.

We are newbies and this is our first rodeo LOL. We love Breezy Oaks and wish we could stay here forever :-)

Best customer service we have experienced in quite awhile. The sites are large and the park itself is very well maintained.

Was visiting some wonderful friends there. Lived there for about year and half. Due to medical reasons had to leave. But made the best of friends here. Wow they have grown. The park is so large now. Hope to visit again soon.

Nice park, pool and bathhouse are good and clean. They have things to do like. Bingo, karaoke, activities like that. They have a place to order breakfast or lunch, it’s open most days. They are on I-75 , the road noise is loud, but the rent is also very reasonable.
