Absolutely beautiful! Very well maintained. The brightest green grass I’ve ever seen at a campsite. Sprinklers turn on in the night. Free hot showers. Dog friendly. I believe if a spot is available you can pay for one night but reservations are needed for more than one night stay.

Check in was fast, the lady who helped us seemed to really know her stuff. Told us about quiet time at 10, dogs on leashes, tents on the tent pad, be mindful of the grass- sprinklers come on overnight. The park is beautiful, they really take care of their grass! Beautiful view of the Columbia, little swimming area available too! Bathrooms were just on the other side of the playground, not far. Only had two issues. The firat one isn't necessarily because of the park. But a few campers nearby were having a really fun time even after 10, unfortunately the park lacks any dense trees or bushes that would have dampened that noise, but this is also what allows yoy to take in the gorgeous night sky. The second thing was, the 1 lamp in the campground flickered...all night long...and we were in a tent. But the sunrise over the river was incredible 😲

The park was nice and clean. The camp host is an absolute jerk. He thinks he's a police officer when he's a host. He doesn't have to be rude to people and speak over them. The park ranger gave us a ticket even though we parked where we were told to. The ticket was $100. Hoping that they will reverse it. The tent area is a very far distance from the bathrooms and also where you have to park. The park was very clean and some tent spots were in the shade. It was nice that they sell ice to replenish coolers, etc. especially during the summer.

Memorial weekend was of course - crowded. The sites are not secluded; tents have to be placed on the designated sand pad. But this campground was reasonably quiet, and silent at night. The camp hosts drove around on and off daily - in a non- intrusive way saying "hello I'm here to help, do you need ice, firewood" etc... Lots of Trails, kids playground, clean restrooms, and big grass area's. Stargazing, boating, coyotes howling in the distance and it's like a bird haven; eagles, hawks, owls, herons, quail, and song birds too. A very enjoyable stay. There's plenty of boat dock space and a really big parking lot for your truck & trailer. We took a 30 minute drive for warmer water swimming - at Alta Lake state park.
