Lake views from our site was great. The facilities were clean and tidy. The internet service was solid the entire week. Watching the fish jump across the flat glass lake. Tons of birds doing their thing. Including the raptors. Our truck broke down while were there. The owners went out of their way to assist us. It was truly an amazing stay all the way around. Plenty to do and see. Fishing, kayaking, boating, local ghost towns and mines to visit. We will definitely come back. And tell all of our friends and fellow RVers about our experience. Thank you for a wonderful visit.

My gf and I had a great one night stay in one of the yurts along the reservoir. It was private, peaceful and priced well. Would absolutely recommend!

The view was beautiful and the location was awesome for exploring, serving as a good base when visiting Bodie and Bridgeport. I went over Labor Day weekend, so it was a little crowded, but the lady working in the office (didn’t catch her name) upgraded me to a lakeside site and was full of suggestions on places to go and things to do. It’s a very short drive to town and they have a small store on site. I just had one tent but if you’re going as a group I suggest renting two adjacent sites. Will definitely be back!

Planning a trip to this area. I planned to stay here until I looked at their web page highlighting an ATV sporting a "Team deplorable" flag. If that is your chosen method of advertising then no thank you.

The staff were polite, and helpful. when we arrived the electricity was all over the city. It came back on with in an hour. We stayed in the RV area looking right out on the reservoir. It's very beautiful and peaceful. The only negative were the trout flies. We left on the outside light and it attracted the trout flies. I would recommend it just keep your outside lights off.

We were swarmed with mosquitoes and left a day early bc of it. We had mosquitoes on every single window screen. We killed about a hundred inside. We felt trapped in our motorhome. We had our mosquitoe catcher running all day and night. We were in site 21. Electric and water, however, we couldn't hook up water due to the mosquito swarms. We let our dogs out to go potty at 9 pm, and a thousand mosquitoes came rushing inside. We spent an hour killing as much as we could, and the next morning, we had to vacuum up all the dead mosquitoes. All of us, including our doggies, got bit by them. Postive is, this location is beautiful, and there are boats you can rent and fish out on the lake. The office personnel was very friendly and offered a lot of good places to see and do. And eat. She was fantastic and I don't blame anyone for the mosquito swarms, it's probably hatching time.

This is a great RV site! It's located on a picturesque marina with everything you could ask for in a mountain RV park; beautiful sunsets, walkable beach, fishing, picnic tables, and it's super quiet! The staff is also friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this as a stop on your mountain adventures!

We stopped here in September for a stay in one of their “glamping” tent cabins. This spot isn’t perfect - you do hear road noise, and there are no grocery stores or other amenities within reasonable distance. But the cabins are perfectly situated right on the lakeside for gorgeous views, the sunsets were beautiful and early morning lake views sublime. A lot of love has gone into the tent-cabin decor and furniture, they are very comfortable. The cabins have a small deck and cute yard space with lawn chairs and umbrellas. We had a wonderful time and it felt like a little oasis in the desert.

We tent camped here for 1 night. Facilities are extremely run down. Location is by a very noisy highway. Loud campers around us and quiet time not enforced. Staff was nice and the office cat is cute. Probably would not return.

I camped here with my 2 children one night after leaving Yosemite on our way to Lake Tahoe. I almost chose Lake Mono, but was so glad I stayed here instead. It is very quaint and quiet. They have showers for use and a reasonable priced store with items you may need. They also have a beautiful tabby cat. Our tent was right in front of the water but there was no direct access to the Lake for us to swim or at any of the other camp sites I could see. We were greeted by some cute squirrels though and saw some other beautiful birds.

We loved this place!! The view is incredible, especially at the lakeside spaces. The amenities are super helpful as well! The staff are all incredibly friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our boat rental to cruise around on the lake. We would definitely come back! Our least favorite part was the midge flies… while they are completely harmless, there are SO many at times that they can be pests. If it is really windy, the flies will take any shelter from the wind they can find which was all over the back of our truck and tent! They would disperse when the wind calmed down though. :)

Been here a few times now and is turning into one of my favorite places to camp while exploring the eastern sierras or riding since it is UTV FRIENDLY. The sunsets over the reservoir can be something else. Cheap with good amenities for the price

I got a great site with water and electric to camp in my van. Not full house because it's already fall. The restroom near me was already closed for the winter. Barely any water left in the reservoir, but the birds look happy. At night, it's a great open area where you can see millions of stars and the Milky way. The campground itself is dirt road and dusty. I cannot say anything about how busy this place must be in the summer coz I was there on Sept 29th to Oct 1st, 2021. The tent sites are beautiful and wide facing the water. The fire pit is low on the ground for better heat coverage. They also have fish cleaning areas. The store/check-in is hard to find, but it's just down the hill by the gate entrance. A nice lady told me where it was. Staff are nice and friendly. Check this place out if you love fishing and riding your ATVs.

Very clean nice little campground. First campground I've visited that didn't make you cringe in the bathrooms. Cleaned TWICE daily. &Staff is super awesome

What a great campground in the middle of God’s Country! We tent camped the first two nights on the bluff looking over the lake. It was beautiful!! The staff was extremely helpful with giving us information and a map for the trail riding we had planned. They also asked us daily where we had gone riding and what had we seen… they were so friendly! The third night we decided to try one of their glamping tents and it was perfect… complete with a fire pit, Adirondack chairs, picnic table, and a pathway lined with solar lighting to get there. The bathrooms were very clean and all of the facilities were well maintained. We are already planning our next rip back in August.
