I stayed in one of their two cabins. We arrived late so they made sure the porch light was on for us and checked on us in the morning. Very nice couple. Walked the property and it's very well maintained even though they've dealt with some flooding. It was a nice quiet weekend away.

If I could give this place negitive stars I would, me and my family stayed at a tent campsite for one night they put us in the overflow which was next to the dump facing a cornfield.when we first arrived and went to check in they charged us 10 dollars extra then we had previously discussed on the phone when I made the reservation. Also when we walked in to check in the lady who owns the place and her granddaughter had and attitude while looking us up and down in a snobby manner, which right away made me feel uncomfortable. Everything was going to say the least decently until the next day , when we let the kids who are 12 and 13 go over to the pool , well 15 minutes later the owner lady came over to us with the kids , right away had an attitude was snapping at us the the kids needed and adult , I thought my mother had went over there to sit with them and did not realize she had not gone over there , when I tried to explain this she cut me off in the middle of my explaining this and continued to snapped at me, after this my mother went back over there with the kids and as we were leaving I was going the posted speed limit and the owner lady proceeded to yell at me so loud half of the campground could hear to slow down even though we were going the speed limit. Over all a very upsetting and disappointing experience I will never go here again I just wanted to have a fun time with my family and it ended up being very frustrating and bad experience. Just no if you bring two tents they will charge you 75 dollars! If you have a family with little kids I don’t suggest you waste your money here!!!

Me and my 6 coworkers camped here and had a wonderful time. Beautiful natural space next to the river with lots of nice wildlife. Mary and marshall are very accommodating hosts and are always willing to help. The main office has hot showers and some convenience goods.we'll definitely be coming back.

This is the third time I have stayed here. My daughter and I came up for Christmas in July and it has been the best time. Very kid friendly and family oriented. We had so much fun decorating the camper and enjoyed seeing Santa and Mrs Claus pass out presents to all of the kids with the help of their elves There are lots of weekend activities including cinnamon rolls on Saturday mornings, train rides, wagon rides, Frisbee golf, 2 playgrounds, 2 pools, horseshoes, etc . We are looking forward to Halloween in August and have already booked for next year ! Mary and Marshall are the best!
