The new owners are friendly. It’s a nice place to camp The showers and toilets and pool are not working right now but they’re in the process of getting them all put together and back to working. They will have laundry machines there what will work as a working progress but they’re doing everything they can possibly do to get it done. The managers are very nice to talk to. They’re very friendly.

Although there are pictures on the website showing off a pool, public washrooms and a playground. Those are all things of the past. Under new management, there is no playground, no pool, no public washrooms, no wifi, and no customer service. If you simply need a place to crash with a full hook up, this is your place. If you are looking for anything other then that, move on. Was hoping to spend 4 days there, based on what was shown on the website. Arrived to a sign posted on the office, with my name on it, and instructions to pick my site. We left the next day. Never did even meet the site manager, as they stayed in the house the whole time.

Travelling from home to Williams lake to visit my dad in a care facility in the first week of July Sharon and I came across this RV site. Pulled in and we were very welcomed great family running the place and when we left we were very concerned about their safety due to the fires that were in the area that being said we had to turn around and head back to Kamloops and up North past Barrier we got to see dad at the end of the trip and zigzag our way back very thankful to the people who run this campsite friendly helpful and will stay again.We hope everybody’s OK!

A bit bare... Better than a Walmart parking lot I guess! There is very little grass or play area for the kids, very little natural features. WiFi did not work. But it was quiet and provided the full hook-up we needed for the night. Not a place you want to linger in, so in the morning we hit the road. It did the job of giving us some rest.

A welcome relief for big rigs looking for a stopping point on the Transcanada Hwy. Good access, clean and full services. There is a pool but it wasn't open due to covid. Nice people running the place.

Brookside is a quiet, small campground on the creek basin. A small bridge leads over from the office to the campground. It has a laundry area which is open for washing clothes (no pet bedding) and a pool which is currently closed because of COVID. The grounds are well kept and in a dry countryside, it’s green. The swing set provided some fun for the kiddos while I processed the laundry. A 30 amp hookup with water and sewer, kept us functioning normal throughout our stay. A very nice place to stay overnight.

This is the new owners 3rd season at the campground and we love the pops of color they are adding, so cheery and bright! We look forward to seeing the finished murals on our next trip through.

Brookside is a wonderful hidden gem! The new owners are so sweet and kind and went totally out of their way to help us have an incredible visit. So excited about the new pool and bright colours! ...they also have laundry facilities...Keep up the great work...we appreciate all of your hard efforts to provide a wonderful experience.
