Of course, the primary draw remains fishing for catfish, bass, and crappie, which are abundant in the local waters. For a change of pace, a short drive leads to the various bird-watching spots and wildlife viewing areas scattered throughout San Jacinto County.
Who This Park Is Best For
This park is ideal for dedicated anglers and boaters who want to maximize their time on the water. Lookout point always a perfect spot to watch the sunrise or set and to visit to just take a minute to reflect.

It was clean furnished with AC. However no internet, no TV. And with the price of 150.00 + each night it should have these basics. The roads in were not the best drivable for any vehicle with all the pot holes. Some dogs were not on their leash roaming around with no owners near permeate residences.

Our first time visiting Lake Livingston and we rented a cabin at Browder marina....this is the dirtiest thing I have ever rented. They apparently do no maintenance to the facilities bc you feel like you are about to fall through the floor at the bathroom door, the bedroom door is pulling completely apart every time it's opened or closed, the toilet feels like its coming off the floor, the porch has boards falling off it with screws sticking up. This cabin is absolutely horrible inside and out, trash, beer caps, Cigarettes butts and socks all on the ground at the door and the inside i can't even explain how dirty it is. We had to go buy blankets at the dollar store to put over the couch just so we could sit on it!! For 135.00 a night i didn't expect the Hilton but I did expect something clean!! Save your money and rent somewhere else!! The only positive thing was the a/c worked!!

They charge you 12 dollars to go fish down at the dam, where there's nothing but trash and death traps, one of the boat ramps is completely destroyed and is washed out nothing but some concrete waiting to break. On the other side it's nothing but trash and people swimming on the functional boat ramps. They don't even move out of your way when you try to launch your boat. They leave their trash wherever they go. Cut up castnets and throw them in the water. Leaving beer bottles all over the place. This used to be a nice place. But not anymore

Very clean and well lit. You can see the coffee station where the 🎩 happens for me . The kitchen serves food cooked to order from an in store menu. Pizzas are available. Bait, food, all kinds of beverages, fishing gear, ice, everything you forgot to bring snacks and ice cream too
