I am disabled and was told I could not ride my seated scooter. That if it was an electric peddle bike I could ride that. I can't peddle. Now whats the difference. I seen 3 people just driving them around not even peddling. I understand if a bunch of kids were riding scooters. Mines a seated one and Im 57. I think the rule needs to be evaluated. Otherwise I loved the place. Even though walking was not easy for me.

We love going to Brower Park. It's clean, good size lots nice beach area and nice trails (love the overlook area). The only negative is that over the years it's turning into more seasonal lots and minimal "open" camping. The old art building should be a bingo hall.

We stayed in cabin 1, it was tucked into the woods out of the heat, right across from the park for the kids. The beach was nice and well taken care of, and all the amenities were kept clean and tidy, the rangers were friendly and always moving around keeping things up to par. If I had any complaints it's that the bath house near our cabins could be updated to match the ones near the beach, but they were still great.

I've been camping here for almost 30 years and it's my favorite place to camp! Everyone is friendly, it's peaceful, a few of the playgrounds have been updated beautifully, dogs are welcome, there's plenty of room to park your boat, etc. I couldn't imagine camping anywhere else.

We loved this campground! The staff was friendly and helpful. It has an art barn! My kids loved doing crafts there! They also got a tractor/wagon ride on Saturday all through the campground so it was fun to see all the other campsites. The bathrooms were clean and there was never a wait. There were plenty of poop bag stations for our dog walk. My only complaint (which no one can fix) was our site, number 220, was full of tree roots. It was rather tricky to get level but we did have a gorgeous view of the river and my kids loved being in their hammocks there. The beach was not very big but it was plenty for us and not overcrowded. The kids loved swimming because it was shallow and warm. There was a small playground near us with swings and a log cabin fort. My kids didn't play in it. There was another playground by the art barn that had more things to play on.

Spent the evening in this beautiful park and watched my husband and his brothers have fire training on the Muskegon. Perfect night! I highly recommend it! I'll be returning to camp for sure!

Hot boat weekend it's really nice camping here. Fifth wheels or tents welcome. You get a power pole or primitive. Bath houses. Over a hundred sites boat ramp that handle really large boats. Hot boat weekend there is thousands of boats tied together party city. Had a great time

We have a seasonal lot there. We love it there. There are a few issues though. The new WiFi is spotty at best. The river is low due repair on the dam. No fault of the park. Told river will be back to normal heights by mid June. On the plus they have a new pavilion. Plenty of play area's for the kids. Smaller boats are on the river fishing. If you do go on the river there are many stumps and shallow area's. Be careful and aware of your surroundings. The boat ramp is usable and and few boaters were using it. Big disappointment having paid extra for our lot. Dogs are aloud this year. Which is really nice. The people running the park are exceptional very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Brower park. If you get a chance come for a visit. You won't be disappointed.
