First off this was recommended to us buy a shop near the Uranus fudge factory, unfortunately when we went there they didn't have the electricity working for the RV hookups because they had had a flood the month before. It's actually a boy scout campground and we were the first of the season so they were still opening up., the owner who was an older gentleman was very nice, the lady who ran the desk was also very easy to get along with. And overall the overnight experience was really good for basic primitive camping. I'm sure in a month or so when everything is back up and running good I would gladly give this place five stars, however the one small concession I had was the shower smelled like the water was coming from well water up at the main office which was probably because of the flooding before. But the bathroom was run down and was not real well maintained, one other thing I would recommend if you stay down by the river make sure to bring citronella and bug spray, we forgot and dealt with bugs half a night, but this is to be expected with anything next to water. One final thing I would recommend being aware of is after all the flooding there was a lot of sand on the campground, however I talked to the owner andb it was something he was working on before this season officially opens. I know my review sounds like there's a lot of issues going on right now but I honestly believe the owner and the staff worked very hard to try to make our experience better, and yes I would recommend this for RV, primitive campers, and boat enthusiasts alike if you're passing through the area I need a place to stay, they have float rentals but I felt was a little high for my budget on this weekendb road trip. Only 15 minutes off the highway and it was very secluded in private and if I need a night to cry somewhere in that area I'll be stopping again.

Amazing! Called after hours and her dad came and set some firewood out for me and they got me a site for two nights. Absolutely beautiful area and tons of space! Pet friendly too!

Our Family loves this campground. Very nice staff and owner is down to earth. We booked a holiday weekend with 40 family members and staff did a great job working with us. We always make sure to come out once or twice a year. Thank You.

Spent 5 nights there and loved every minute! Great staff! We needed to change our float trip to a shorter distance and they were very accommodating. The owner knows all of the history of the area and we loved listening to all the stories! All the necessary hookups and right by the river, with great access to the river! Would like better cell service but was nice to unplug as well; and they had a hotspot by the office when needed.

We did the 5 mile float with an unorganized group of 7. They were amazing to work with on reservation changes and moved our float back during rain so we were able to go. I would 100% book with them again, we had an amazing time on the float and they had great service.

It was well maintained. Lots of shade. Great swimming hole. Good fishing. Despite changes in upper management. Every effort was made to insure I nice stay. I stayed 5 nights.

Fantastic place. It's only about 15-20 min from the St. Robert/Waynesville area, that is a major plus for me. The scenery is absolutely stunning, with lots of cliffs and vegetation. The grounds are very, very well tended and the area is organized, clean, and efficient. It is obvious that the people that take care of the place really love it. We did more wading than swimming, but we are looking forward to canoeing soon at the same place. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We also saw a bald eagle in flight and a ton of hawks!

Wonderful camping experience here! Able to camp right along the river with easy access for swimming. We just tent camped and took a float trip. They were very accommodating of our requests and helpful making sure we had a great experience. We are extending our stay for a few more days. Definitely will come back for longer stays.

We had a great weekend on the river and camping at the campground. The best part was the power. I did everything I could to try and blow the circuit. I installed a tent air conditioner. An air conditioner in my van. And also a refrigerator. All running off a single 50 ft extension cord. The owner Larry was so impressed he made sure to tell everybody!. He made us feel right at home. I think he was getting ready to say he's going to start renting air conditioners to use on hot days. What a great idea. Larry's also really good at making sure that the booking process is seamless. If you tell me you want to power site gosh darn it you're going to get a power site. They may not charge you for it first but he'll make sure he gets his cash. Thanks a lot Larry will be back. 😜

This place is awesome. The owner is a genuine, nice respectful man. Gave the tour when I arrived. The whole place is set up awesome. There was other floaters but it wasn't like jam packed like Bass or Ozark Outdoors. I booked a 8 man raft but due to shipping delays they didn't have them yet. They compromised by setting our group up in a 4 and 6 man raft. This place has my business and I will definitely be returning very soon!
