Buchanan Resort is hidden treasure. A group of friends get together here once a year, fraternity brothers and sisters. There are often over 100 of us who meet to renew our fellowship.

You can imagine the difficulty in finding a place to accommodate our needs. For 15 years, Buchanan Resort has been doing just that.

I have not heard 1 complaint from anyone about the facilities, staff, or location. Nor has Buchanan Resort ever complained about our being there.

We come from across this great nation to hang out with friends, some of whom have know each other for over 50 years. We are grateful to have found such a beautiful place to rest, to socialize, and to "kick-it" until the wee hours of the night.

Great marina with great access to Kentucky Lake,  LBL, Murray State, and lots of friendly folks.

One thing, best to make your reservation well in advance.

What a great place to be. Nice and helpfull people at the reception and in the store. They where so glad that we visit Buchanan Resort. We are the European family who came here and they where happy with us and we with this beautiful place.

This place was quite, in a great location right on the water, easy to rent another boat. Staff is friendly and keep everything very clean!

This is the Best campground,  we have been to. Super clean, great pool, beach and amenities.

One of the coolest places on KY Lake to stay. From weddings, class reunions, to just a quick get away, this is the place for you!

I would give this resort a 4 star but the beds were extremely uncomfortable. We have been coming since 1990 & still has the same mattresses! Its hard to enjoy yourself without a good nights sleep. The mattresses had plastic on them, made noise when when turning! PLEASE INVEST IN NEW MATTRESSES!! We will not be back until they are updated   we stayed in cabins with decks
