Good experience. We were there for a benefit for a friend. All in all, great place.

Absolutely amazing stay with the entire family. We rented the cabins on the pond with 4 families and we didnât have a moment where the kids (or adults) werenât entertained. Between the inflatables in the pond, to the air pillow or game room, the entire place is setup for a perfect family vacation. On top of that, the service is incredible. We loved our entire experience. Highly recommend for a getaway up north.

Quiet and beautiful location. Lots to do in the nearby area. The staff doesnât know left from right and very slow.

Disappointed!! We booked our stay over a year ago and was able to cash in on the $35 a night that they were charging for their opening special and thank God for that because the stay was not worth any more than that. (Current Price for the site we had is $118 a night !!) When we first arrived on Thursday, the grass was so long it actually scratched our legs above our ankles, now keep in mind you can't check in until 3 pm and check out time is 11 am that would give them 4 hours to check over the site and mow the very long grass and empty the fire pit which was full and had garbage in it (paper plates) had someone stayed in the site the day before. The young man that came to mow was very careful around our canopies, trucks and campers. He was also very apologetic and explained that there are new campground managers this year that are training. You'd think by August, theyd have this simple thing mastered. It was Friday after 3 pm that we finally got our sites mowed (after telling the person in the clubhouse it needed to be mowed, since it was so long already and we were going to be there for a week yet). On Saturday we had to ask them to fill the toilet paper in both the men's and women's bathrooms and that's all they did. For the entire week we were there the bathrooms were never cleaned. There was toilet paper pieces all over the floor toilets were gross, garbage bins was over flowing with paper towel and there were bugs and dirt all over the sink area..ALL WEEK. Friday night and Saturday night there were kids still in the pond screaming and yelling profanity well after 11 PM. Saturday night we asked the lady in the clubhouse to say something to kids on the water equipment about the pond being closed at dark, it was pitch black outside already when she came out asked how old they were and one of the kids yells back "23 how old are you?" And she says "OK thank you"....she should've said the pond is closed and you will need to come out of the pond regardless of the age of the person. Which keep in mind was a teenager that lied (we saw them when they went into the pond). The workers have very loud small work utv's that they get around on, during and after their shifts, working at the restaurant. They drive back and forth from the camper they stay in to the park model camper on the other side of the pond and then down the road and then back and then back to the restaurant and then back by the clubhouse and then back to their camper, they keep it running at their camper which was right across the road from us, and these things are loud and annoying when you're trying to relax around the fire and talk (this was after 11 PM every night) The game room had multiple games broken. Kids distroyed 2 of the games, to the point of the main part of the game or the prize bin was actually in pieces. They don't have cameras or even close the arcade so the kids just have a free for all in there all day and night, with no supervision. Beware of camping around the pond between the shower room and clubhouse, as you will have people from the other side of the campground walking through your site and driving golf carts through your site, all day, everyday because there is no is path to get to the pond and they can't park in the parking lot by the clubhouse to access the pond because there are no parking signs, THAT is where the golf carts should HAVE to park. The beach / grass area behing our site had a shirt someone forgot and a life vest next to a tree from Saturday to Thursday when we left, so no one walks the beach either it seems. There is no management there at all. No one goes to each site after the customers leave, checking the firepits or grass so why such a late check in time?? This is most of what we experienced or witnessed the week we were there. I can't say we'll ever be back after such a disappointing trip, especially at the cost of $118 a night. There are 2 other campgrounds just down the highway for almost half that price and are well managed, we will have to stick to those.

We just ended our week long family vacation with a total of 16 people here and it was absolutely amazing. We stayed in the three cabins that are on the swim pond, a lakefront cabin and a RV site right next to the swim pond cabins. All of the cabins were very clean, had all of the essentials and were perfect for families with or without small children! The inflatables in the swimming pond provided our kids with endless enjoyment during our stay as well as the jumping pillow, huge playground and the arcade! We enjoyed daily visits to the store to get ice cream after dinner and a couple of trips for meals to the lighthouse pub at the campground. All of the staff we encountered were extremely friendly and very helpful! The grounds were well taken care of and very clean. The pride of ownership shows here. We will definitely be back again! I canât recommend this place more !!!!

Busy location on a Saturday afternoon in snowmobiling season. Steady stream coming in and out. There is a nice new menu and a few beers on tap. We enjoyed the new tater tot kegs.

We reserved 2 cabins in July for the upcoming February (more than 6 months in advance) and when we showed up they didn't have cabins available for us. They made their staff that lives on site vacate immediately and gave us their place to stay. It didn't have the number of beds we initially reserved and were short beds, no towels or washclothes. It was a school night and the worker's had kids which means that family that works for them will wake up in hotel before having to go to school as the owners forced the family that works for them and stays on site into a local hotel to accommodate our group. We feel bad but we were from out of town and didn't know the area. Plus they took our non refundable deposit so we were stuck. Will not be staying here again due to the poor planning and awkwardness for sleeping in that families housing unit. I had to sleep in the children's bedroom on their bunkbed with their toys next to it. Very sad. This is my cliff notes version as I am tired of texting but could report on more of the unexpectedness that happened to our group. Good luck if you decide to stay here!

Great decor, love the wood burning stove. Stopped to have a drink and warm up on the trail.

We found this place snowmobiling and we love it. Cute little cozy place right on the water. They have a wood stove in the bar to keep you warm. We will definitely visit come summer

A great spot but the guy playing the music had it way too loud. The bartender asked him 2X to turn it down. She couldn't hear a thing. Bar is really cool and great setting. Staff was very nice! Just tone down the volume and you are good to go! Definitely will be back!!đđș
