We were traveling up north through Texas and found this place and stopped in and we were so glad we did! We loved it so much we ended up staying an extra night even. The safari is super cool and a lot of fun, the petting zoo is a blast, and the whole area just has a nice vibe. The RV sites are nice and the bath house and laundry are great too! Would definitely recommend this place. ~Road Life Adventure

We have passed Buena Vista several times and have always talked about staying. We finally stopped on our way down south and LOVED it!! P Kay is amazing and was super helpful! We went on the safari (a little later in the day) and although a lot of animals were out we realized going earlier is better. It was an awesome drive and we had a blast! We have already booked to stay on our way back north and will definitely be doing the safari again!!

Had a great time! Very nice, low-key, weekend getaway. We stayed in one of the RV sites, which were basic, nothing fancy, but a great price and all we needed! We were right next to the event center and had full access to that, which was cool! Bathhouse was very nice and clean with PLENTY of hot water! Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Drive through safari was really fun! Lots of variety of animals and most were visible and curious (especially after throwing feed out the windows 😁) . Our favorites were the camel, the bison and, of course, the emus and ostriches! Thank you P Cay and staff for a fun weekend!

I really like this Place. It's a good place to visit and I really enjoy driving through the safari park and seeing all the different exotic animals and getting to feed them. I really liked the petting zoo as well. The goats and the sheep were crazy, fighting everyone over the food and I adored the little alpaca and the little pigs. I tried giving them food because the goats are always trying to steal the food from those poor little guys. I love the fact that this place has an RV park as well along with a clubhouse, a little swimming pool, a dog run and a fish pond. I would like to see if I could Kayak in that pond but I believe it would be too small for that. I have a travel trailer that is parked there at the RV park and I also like that they have a bathhouse and a laundry room and it's very clean and well kept. I come to stay in my travel trailer at this park on my days off from work. I live in Abilene TX which is about two hours away. Now the only issue I have is that the Internet has a weak signal and the dog run is right next to the safari area and there is only a high thin fence that is dividing the dog run and a big male ostrich that hangs around the fence line and I'm concerned that the big bird and some of the other animals may get certain dogs all excited. I can't bring my dog in the dog run because he will go berserk if he sees that big ostrich there. Also I tried the pool area and the only thing I didn't like is that there are no steps or rails to step into the pool and there is a bench there that sits too high and it's not level and it can cause someone to flip over and get hurt. But overall it's a nice getaway and I really enjoy staying here and I would like to stay here for a while.

Fantastic campground and Safari park rolled into one. Highly recommend. Loved the little swimming pool with the ostrich watching us. Very entertaining. We will be back.
