Staff was very nice however everything is very old and run down. The “yard” had burs all over, the bathroom stalls done lock. However the bathrooms were clean! Very quiet, which was excellent, as well as close to the highway. Perfect for a quick overnight stop but not much more.

We were disappointed at this campground as we drove in; it’s not much to brag about. There was no one in the office so I had to call to get a hold of someone and was given our site number and then we were on our own. As we drove to our site, there are numerous old trailers (probably permanent residents), tall grass and weeds everywhere. Didn’t bother to go into the restroom. The pool was also drained. From reviews that I read after I got here indicates there is a new owner of the property. With a lot of cleanup and repairs, it could be a decent place to stay. Permanent residents need to keep their sites groomed and orderly. We stayed one night and it was very quiet, just not the campground we were expecting.

Every year me and my family come down for the fair and book RV site. The last 2 years the facility has gotten alot better. Clean bathrooms, good showers and manager works hard on accommodating are needs. Thanks again

Under new management. Very helpful and friendly upon arrival toilets replaced in bathrooms and showers had hot water. I think most negative reviews were from previous owner … give this place a chance … we had a great visit !!

Right off the interstate for travelers, great showers, laundry facility, and clean. Managers are very friendly and always working hard to improve the park where needed and accommodating the needs of all of the guests to make sure everyone has a good stay! 😁

Older park with some trees and average sized sites just off of I-76. Most people are here working for a few months in the area, the rest are overnight stops. From here you can arrive anywhere in central Colorado at a reasonable hour. The bathhouse is dated and stained/dirty by age. The pool was empty and there is no playground for the kids.

We just inquired here. Been here before under different ownership. The man was rude, the sites all have weeds. Trashy looking. Glad we're not staying. The reason for two stars is, he at least answered our questions. I miss the previous ownership! No swimming pool any longer either.

Jim, the manager is a talkative and friendly guy. This park looks like it was a very nice place years ago. It's clear the current owner has decided to spend the absolute minimum on maintenance. My reply to the owner's response: Thanks for the info. That sounds expensive and time consuming! I was put off by the condition of your gravel roads, the litter throughout the campground and the foot high weeds around the water spigot. My sewer hook up was underneath my neighbors picnic table, so I saved my tank dumps for tonight's campground. Thinking about your response to my review, as well as your response to others who've complained about the empty pool, a pattern emerges: You like to make excuses for the poor condition of your campground. If it was truly your desire, the place would look a lot better than it does. I'm guessing/hoping you haven't owned this place very long. Best of luck to you.
