Beautiful! So much to explore. Lots of trails to explore.

This was one of the more disappointing NPS visitors centers I have been to. At the beginning of the day the trash cans needed to be emptied, the bathrooms needed to be refreshed, and the displays were a bit old; the taxidermied skunk looks pretty rough. Most disappointing of all the employee manning the desk was brusque and rude. She seemed unhappy; maybe working at this location wasn’t their ideal assignment? They also needed to take a shower as they were visibly unkempt. She provided less than helpful answers to questions about the park. Google was more useful. I would urge them to work on the way they interact with the public, especially at a time when NPS funding is less than ideal. You are, for better or worse, the face of the federal government for many visitors.

Knowledgeable Rangers and friendly staff. Years since I've been there but have spoken w Rangers for rover info. Very helpful. That was over 4 yrs ago. The Pruitt Ranger office helpful too. A truly beautiful natural experience the Buffalo Nat Scenic River offers. It's good to know what you are getting into and the Rangers, staff and visitor center provide this. I've been coming to the Buffalo for nearly 30 yrs. The Ozark terrain is gorgeous. "Take only pictures and leave only footprints". I've taught many a youth these words and exemplified.

Really enjoyed the interpretive center and the rangers were awesome, especially Anita, who has a fantastic story.

Due to the heat we didn't stay long. The visitor center was nice and open on Sunday until 4pm. They have an old homestead you can check out, it's a .5 mile easy hike (don't take the trail from the visitor center, it's 1.5 miles). You can get your passport stamped.

Great place, enjoyed talking with the ranger. She is very knowledgeable and helpful. The restrooms were excellent and showers look nice for camping. I'll be back.

Beautiful area. Only stopped to stretch our legs but looked like a really nice place to camp. Will definitely visit this area again.

A nice place to stop and visit on your way to her from Branson from Central Arkansas. Set above the Buffalo River. You can walk trails and see great views from above the river

The visitor center was awesome people helpful and the air cold we stayed at the group site , well maintained and close to the path that walks down to the buffalo river . Can't wait to do it again

Cool lil place. Visitors center was pretty nice. The young man tending the place was very friendly and helpful. The camping areas were really nice. We really liked the rustic area down by the day use area. Planning a float/camping trip next spring and this will be one of our stops. Can't wait.
